Oof, just saw someone I admire use the "executed in the street" line about the guy who brought a gun to an incredibly volatile and stressful situation, interfered with a police arrest, resisted arrest himself, and then got shot. Scary how easily these groups can manipulate.

A small pet peeve,but the usual version of that line from Treasure of the Sierra Madre always seems to characterize the person saying it as more ignorant and illiterate than necessary. It's been a while since I checked, but as I recall, the bandit in that case says he does not need to "show you any stinking badges."
