Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

The reason was someone operating a motor vehicle aggressively around law enforcement. That's an automatic needs shooting, as far as I'm concerned. Peaceful operation, the aggressor would have parked blocks away, and proceeded to her peaceful protest on foot.

Nobody uses a motor vehicle to disrupt an armed police operation unless they mean violence. Or they're an idiot behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Either way.

Seek mental help. You're not well.

I had no idea "aim a car at people, get shot" was such a controversial opinion.
From non-gun-crazy Europe it´s not just controversial, it´s just psychotic. That ICE agent was in no danger at any moment. The car was only aiming at him because he walked in front of the car while she was slowly maneuvering and talking with the other agents in a relaxed way. Shooting her didn´t get him out of danger, in fact the car sped up when she was shot and stepped on the gas in her death throes, and even then the shooter wasn´t hit by the car.

Defending this makes you look quite ideologically blinded.

She was steering away from her executioner.

Not only that, ongoing video analysis shows that the officer drew his weapon before the car started moving forward. This happens after he shifts his camera to his left hand. Preparing to use deadly force before the threat appears is a hard sell for the claim of self-defense.

Further, as more video examination has occurred, it is clear she was only in that part of the road for a short time, after parking to film and observe ICE from a safe distance outside the traffic flow. She later stopped "in the middle of the road" not to impede anyone, but to yield to oncoming traffic in the lane she was trying to enter as she was ostensibly preparing to leave the area. That oncoming traffic was the truck carrying ICE officers, which she waved through. Instead of continuing through, they stopped and attempted to forcibly detain her.

1) He put himself in front of the car, against agency rules
2) She wasn't aiming the car at him, quite the opposite.
3) Even if she had aimed her car at him he was never in any real danger from a car starting from a few feet away.
4) His use of lethal force in response to the above is beyond "controversial". Its flipping psychotic.

This corrupt administration is literallly threatening retribution on the citizens of a U.S. state. JFC, when is enough going to be enough for democrats, for sane republicans?

I agree, but what exactly can be done? The party of minimal governmental intervention has the white house, congress, the senate and, possibly most importantly, the supreme court - what action or actions can any party take? What's the course from here? What, in short, are the checks and balances that can be engaged here?

But we have been assured numerous times, that the ICI truck was stuck in the snow and the agents were trying to free it when they were attacked.
