So trumpkins, are you happy yet?

  • He ended the war in Ukraine on day... :checks notes: ...no, wait, that's still ongoing and he's repeatedly put sanctions on russia and provided support to Ukraine.
  • He's held true to his signalled aspirations of being a noble piece price president by not starting any new wars, unlike Biden and Obam... Wait, no, he's been threatening to invade neighbouring countries, sinking ships on the high seas, and moving a carrier group off the coast of Venezuela. And, what's that? Biden and Obama didn't start any new wars either? Oh darn, I forgottaboutthat.
  • But he put America first! By... Uhm, lemme see, tourism is plummeting, China's not buying soybeans anymore, people are scared to come to America because they fear ICE, and lots of industries are struggling because so many people with brown skin are hiding in attics.
  • Bur prices are down! You had your cheaper eggs and gas... No, wait, those are still up. I bet he'll get around to it any minute now. In two weeks, surely.
  • But the inflation! ...What, that was already at only 2-3% and holding steady since... June 2023? And since he took office it's been rising?!
  • But all the foreign aid he's cutting, and the food that rotted instead of being sent to foreign people, and President Elonia's chainsawing his way through all those agencies' budgets leaves so much more money for... Lemme see... :scratches head: Not schools, not SNAP, not MedicAid... Vaccines are out... What's that, he's turning ICE into his personal army and enacting massive tax cuts to the rich? Oh, and he's stepping back from politics entirely to devote himself to public appearances, visits to foreign heads of state to be swooned over, and refurnishing and expanding the presidential palace... Aaand he's building a big and beautiful archway no one ever asked for. Daaamn, must suck to be poor and have voted for all this :( .
  • But, but, but he drained the swamp, right? No, wait, he kicked all the competent people out (forcing them to frantically try to re-hire many of them when it turns out they actually had essential tasks) and replaced them with cronies with no qualification besides connections and a passion for corruption and cruelty. Oh, and silly me, I forgot he's ending all sorts of regulations. Get ready for 14 hour work days, strikers beaten up by cops and hired thugs, children in the factories, and more lead and asbestos poisoning.
In short...
We're about to see things you commies wouldn't believe. Fishing ships on fire off the shoulder of Venezuela. River fires glittering in the dark by the Golden Gate. All these moments will be lost to time, like liberal tears in the rain. Time for democracy to die.

Wait, so failing all that, what has he accomplished? Oh, right, you now have a free 24/7 buffet of endless cruelty. Women, ethnic minorities, and trans people you're so scared of are terrified, teens are forced to give birth to their rapists' offspring, and democracy is being systematically dismantled around you. Oh, and best of all, the libs are sad!
That makes it all worth it, I'm sure.

I don't think countries get richer by letting people starve, or go without medical care - individuals, yes, but society as a whole is impoverished.

The thing is he may actually believe that given his staggering ignorance. It's going to be a little harder to sell when the money runs out and its Red States hit hardest.

I don't know whether to hate him for his petty spitefulness, or pity him for his utter inability to deal with reality. It's pathetic either way.
