Stephen Miller can't declare anyone anything. He's not a law officer, he's not an elected politician, he is not a member of the military. He's just some bottom-feeding functionary in the White House, no more important nor imbued with any more authority than the lowliest gardener on the property. Less so, in fact. He is WAY overstepping his bounds, probably believing he has Trump's blessing for all this. Or hiding behind Trump's ginormous pasty ass.
Miller should be told to get back in his ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ box and shut the ◊◊◊◊ up, and hit with a stick about the head and body until he does.

obviously there could be more context to the video or to the story than this, but that requires giving ice the benefit of the doubt

I didn't expect this either. As far as what to do- we're already doing it. Physically pushing back. What happens then? The military gets brought in, and it gets worse. What then? I think the military will reach the point where factions will begin refusing orders that are in conflict with their oath to uphold the Constitution. That's when all bets are off.

Clearly, yes, it's the White House that's funding the violence. It's a new Happy Time for Proud Boys and Oath Keepers as they can now simply get deputised and then get paid to beat up the people they wanted to beat up anyway, and instead of going to jail for it they get paid bonuses.

"Stop pulling her clothes off!" citizens yell. "You're assaulting her right now."
"She just pulled over to ask for directions," witness explained. "Within a minute, DHS throws her to the ground and drags her away."
The woman filming, who goes by "bruhhh," asked each officer why no one would step up to de-escalate the situation.
The incident occurred outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles.
