Trump's Second Term

Not fair on the President to use his words.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Trump said yesterday that he wants American cities to be used as 'training grounds' for the military. Is that the highest and best use of the military?

MIKE JOHNSON: I run the House. And what we need to be talking about today is real harm that the American people are going to feel because of what Schumer is doing.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Hold on a second. Answer the question. As Speaker, do you believe it's appropriate to use American cities as training grounds for the military, calling those people 'the enemy within'?

JOHNSON: I'm not comment on your characterization of what the president said.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Those are quotes. They are not characterizations.

JOHNSON: Well you can take his quotes out of context, which you often do, and I don't think that's fair to the president.

JD Vance: "There's a lot of emergency healthcare at hospitals that are provided to illegal aliens. That was funded by the federal government. We turned off that funding because of course we want American citizens to benefit from those hospital services, not to be taxed and then have those hospital services go to illegal aliens."

Hegseth is a liberal pussy, probably a fairy, since he didn't call to weed out all gays in the military.
I saw that pathetic squish trying to do pull-ups with absolutely terrible form. He can't do even one starting from a full hang, and he has to kick and writhe all the way. It's what weak, out-of-shape guys do to pretend they're some kind of beast. And yes, I know what I'm talking about. When I was Hegseth's age, I had a side gig as a strength trainer for dance students. My gym buddies these days are Marine reservists. Then there was the elderly, obese Commander-in-Cheeseburger (credit to Kimmel) trying to fat-shame all those career officers. I guarantee every Marine officer in that audience was channeling their inner Hartman and thinking of going one-on-one with either one of them.

Only once all US soldiers are strong, tall, handsome, muscular. well-groomed and perfectly straight will the US military be able to win wars again.
My hypothesis is that Pres. Trump wants to shame (or more likely, irritate) the senior officer corps into retiring so that he can selectively promote loyalists from the lower echelons. I bet he hasn't forgotten that the generals took the nuclear launch authority away from him during his last term because they saw how bat-crap crazy he was. He can't presently be sure the military will have his back when he orders them to do the unthinkable.

Hey Schitler, thanks for helping out Argentina's soybean growers!

Candid photo of Scott Bessent's phone reveals administration's concern about two key Trump policies

A member of the Trump administration has seemingly raised a red flag after China bought millions of tons of Argentinian soybeans, taking advantage of a financial lifeline the US Treasury Department said it plans to provide to Buenos Aires – all while American soybean farmers are struggling with a Chinese blockade of their crops.

A photo of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's phone captured by the Associated Press shows a text from a contact named "BR," presumed to be US Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins.

The message linked to the X account of grain trader Ben Scholl, who has sounded the alarm on what Argentina's massive bailout means for America's soybean farmers.

"Just a heads up. I am getting more intel, but this is highly unfortunate. We bailed out Argentina yesterday and in return, the Argentine's (sic) removed their export tariffs on grains, reducing their price to China at a time when we would normally be selling to China," the message said.
"Soy prices are dropping further because of it. This gives China more leverage on us. On a plane but scott I can call you when I land."
Administration officials did not respond to requests for comment.

The caught-on-camera text conversation appears to show how President Donald Trump's haphazard foreign policy agenda has produced a number of unintended negative consequences for American farmers – a situation Trump has acknowledged by suggesting his administration may take action to help bail them out.

The Argentina Bailout was NOT about Argentina at all - it was to bail out one of Trump's and Bessent's pal Rob Citrone who betted his entire hedge fund on Argentina and was about to get burned to the ground.
because it's not Socialism if you bail out millionaires.

STFU, sniveling sycophant.

You have to remember this is still Biden's economy. Trump's boom will start not long after you stop asking why it hasn't started yet. You won't believe how rich everyone is going to be just as soon as you stop talking about not being able to see any signs of improvement. You're jinxing it. Stop spoiling the magic, and just believe harder. Just look forward to everything being 1,000% to 1,200% cheaper, and stop trying to figure out what that means. Everyone's going to be too rich to care about counting their money, with all the trillions the other countries are sending us thanks to Trump.

Helen? Is that you?

BLITZER: Is it an appropriate thing to do for the president to post AI-altered videos on social media depicting Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero with a mustache? Should he take the posts down and apologize?

REP. LISA McCLAIN: Listen, the president sure can get a laugh and get a rise out of the Democrats with his social media. I don't think that's anything new to anybody.

Maybe you should pay attention to your own posts. The criticism was that Democrats are looking out for the interests of our illegal aliens, most of whom are from south of our border of course, than those of American citizens.

Maybe you folks forgot to inoculate yourselves against the leftist woke brain virus. Thankfully, I seem to be naturally immune.
You mean looking out for the interests of all human beings, yes?
