I seem to recall that @theprestige lives in Portland. Perhaps we should ask the Red Cross to make sure he's okay. Does he need emergency relief? Evacuation from the war zone? I would suggest refugee status, but we know what ICE does to people like that.

They've probably been touching themselves to imagery of Kent State and riot police brutalizing protesters and fantasizing about the day when they finally got to do the same --with the trumpkins enthusiastically handwaving or supporting them. I can picture them reacting to the Kent State shooting and the image of Mary Ann Vecchio crying over the body of one of the victims. "Oh, she shouldn't have run away from home! And it's you liberals and your rioting and hateful speech that leads to this kind of violence, and did you also care as much when <insert whataboutism here>?!". Possibly typed with one hand while pleasuring themselves with the other.

After all, as far as I remember from a Viet Nam documentary series I watched (the Ken Burns one), 50% of the US population in 1970 thought the Kent State shooting was justified.

I was in the UK a few weeks ago in a training session with about a dozen people, mostly from the UK and EU but 3 people from the US, 2 of whom I know are Trump supporters.

Over lunch the conversation turned to Trump and the whole room was laughing and him and the US. I glanced over at the americans and they were just sitting there shifting uncomfortably in their seats while the rest of the room openly mocked their president and country. I can't imagine how embarrassing it must be to be am american abroad, realizing that your homeland has become a laughing stock.

Its probably even worse for those that can't stand him. They know they are tainted by him nonetheless.

Hmmm...I have a plot of land in Florida that I am trying to sell (but no one is buying).

I wonder if I could lease it to a pharma company so they can put up a sign saying "Coming soon! Future home of xxxxxxx pharmaceuticals" to escape tariffs.
