i think you could make a case that the left has gone further left on some social issues. some people's views have shifted more left over the last 50 years, big deal. the right has masked federal agents taking people based on their race and putting them in special camps they built. in the context that it's true this shooter was some even more alt right white supremacist than charlie kirk, charlie kirk was just murdered by a guy for being too far to the left. but charlie kirk thought the left has gone too woke too and did what he could to make sure that guy had a gun.
