Trump's Second Term

ANy rifle could make that shot. It doesn't have to be a military one.
Could have made is a bit different than invoking the success rates. Either way, boiled down politically, one side is for gun safety both for the user and for others and the other is thoroughly against gun safety for anyone. Individual stances may not be in line with the Party that they vote for, but that's largely immaterial politically.

I'm not an expert, but my take is that a trained sniper would target the chest and someone who's idea of sniping came from memes/Day of the Jackal would aim for the head, no-one aims for the neck. A neck shot strikes me as a 'lucky' shot (depending on which end of the path you are). The guy that went after Trump missed. this one missed where it was aimed but hit a vital spot. Just my opinion.

He was known to wear body armour. I don't know if it was rated very high but it might influence a shooter.

I agree though, the neck wasn't a deliberate target, the shot probably went slightly high and right.

From the angle, it would appear the aiming point was the head (left eye?) but the shot went a few inches low.

Second term worse than the first and worse than I thought it would be, so in that way the same as the first.

I heard a "defense" trump. He's at least unwilling to try things that haven't worked in the past? He'd rather try a stupid and crazy idea that hasn't been tried. That was regarding Israel and the middle east. There is a point there, I suppose.

I posted in the current event thread, I want to see what bolt action rifle as used. 200 yards with a bolt action rifle, no different then deer hunting. Aim for the heart/center mass. Drift took the round high and hit the neck. I just have the feeling that the shooter grew up hunting and just followed the same steps. Only time will tell.
