I'll be really surprised if the actual shooter makes it into custody alive. I'll even be surprised if the find the shooter. If, as reported, the gunman was 200 yds away the guy is a decent shot and had probably made extensive plans for his exit.

I could be very wrong, of course.

Mullin is absolutely right, of course. When are the democrats going to emulate the republicans, and apologise as fully as the republicans did, after two democratic politcians were killed, and two were wounded, in Minnesota?

I didn't think Luigi was left wing. I thought he leaned conservative but mostly wasn't political at all, until United Health Care screwed him over specifically. It was personal.

For Kirk we still don't know who did it. It would make sense if it were some left-wing extremist, I mean they've gotta be hiding somewhere, Utah is as good a place as any, but it could just as easily be someone who lost family in a school shooting and blamed Kirk for it.

Just because the victims are hard right grifting douchebags who more than earned a bullet from the left, and everyone's so fundamentally aware of that that no one, literally no one so far in all I've read on this topic has wondered why someone might want Kirk dead, doesn't mean the left provided that bullet.

I hadn't hear about that, and if true it definitely needs to be widely known. They should certainly at least tell that story in his medal citation when Trump decides to give him an award for whatever ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ rescuing the fair maiden tale they spun it as to begin with. His getting beaten up was Trump's final straw which gave him his excuse for putting troops on the streets of DC.
