He gets away with this nonsense because no-one calls him out on it in the mainstream media and because the majority of Americans are sufficiently disinterested not to bother to read anything which refutes RFK's position.
The "joy" of an evidence free position is that you're not obliged to read any complicated papers which make your head hurt, you can just go with your gut instead - so much easier.
