Apparently "Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen."

The Washington "Whatever's" should IMMEDIATELY change their name back to the Washington Redskins Football Team.
There is a big clamoring for this. Likewise, the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams, with a storied past. Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen. Their heritage and prestige is systematically being taken away from them. Times are different now than they were three or four years ago. We are a Country of passion and common sense.

"Law"? What is that? All that matters is the king's whims! Cane sugar back into one brand of soda! Sports team name changes! Ex talk show host stripped of citizenship! Moar ketchup!!!

It took nearly two thousand years but finally Nero looks like a mature, reasonable leader.

Wait, isn't this from the same guy who decided to rename Denali, Mt McKinley? In other words, taking a Great "Indian" name from Alaska's highest peak and naming after some dude from Ohio?

Obviously this is an oversimplified model, constructed for rhetorical effect, that doesn't allow for the absurd hypothetical timeline wherein one of the co-equal branches declares the oddly-hued felon to be immune to the laws that govern mere mortals, because they'd never do something as jaw-droppingly stupid as that, right?

This is also the guy who has hated Native Americans for decades because of the "unfair advantage" their casinos have over his. He's concerned about what they want now?
