Ed Israel/US Attacks Iran /Yet Another Country/Iran

it is doing so, currently, in Gaza and Iran, as Israel could not do so with overwhelming US support.
Yup, without American weapons IDFascists would not have been able to destroy Gaza.

And most of the weapons were given to Israel free of charge.

So literally, the US taxpayers funded Gaza's destruction.

Without US support in 1973, Israel would not exist today.

The Iraq Invasion in 2003 was mostly to appease Zionist and Neo-Conservative warmongers, and to fulfill the Zionist policy document of "A Clean Break".
The USA did no fighting for Israeli in 1973. We did not "fight a war for them".

Your second sentence is Jewish world order conspiracy bs.

A key reason for the Iraq war was to protect Israel from Saddams nukes that Netanjahu swore were absolutely there.
No one assumed that Iraq waa able to send a missile to the US

Sorry, but "A Clean Break" was a real Zionist strategy document for re-shaping the Middle East, and called for regime change in Iraq, Syria, Iran. Many of the people pushing Bush to invade Iraq participated in this document, and many more supported it. A leading publication of Neo-Conservatives is a Jewish magazine called "Commentary".

Many of the signatories went on to push the Bush Admin to invade Iraq, or were part of the Bush Admin.

2/3 is complete.

Israel has 100% depended on American weapons to fight their wars. Many of which given to them for free by US taxpayers.

Question: If Israel decide to whack Iran's foreign minister during talks with the European counterparts, will you:

a) support
b) condemn 😯
c) wait to see what Israel does and then say that that's what they should have done. (y)

I'm not a big fan of the idea. On balance I'd probably condemn. I think diplomats are fair game, but it's a game that gets very awkward for you very fast, once you start playing.

It's kind of hard to see the point of these talks, though. Also kind of hard to see the point of killing this guy.

by your logic, Iran should quit the NPT and Israel would no longer have a reason to attack its program.
I made a statement of fact, one which you were evidently ignorant of. The issue of what different actors should do is separate, and your assumptions about my position on that are just as wrong.

Not to me. What point do you see?
What was the point of assassinating the hostage negotiator?
Same reason why Israel attacked two days before negotiations with the US were to begin.

Israel doesn't want to make deals.

It's a very well established pattern, and it drives mediators up the wall.

I don't know. I'm literally asking you to tell me what the point was.

That's understandable. I still don't see how Iranian diplomats meeting with their French, German, and UKian counterparts matters in this regard.

If Israel doesn't want to make deals with (or brokered by) those countries, it can simply not make those deals.

Same as with the hostage negotiator you mentioned above. I'm not familiar with the incident you're referencing, so maybe there is some nuance there.

Aw, the poor babies.

Nobody wants to make deals they think won't be good for them. Everyone wants to make deals they think will be good for them. If someone is unwilling to negotiate, that just means they don't think they can get a deal that's good for them, it doesn't actually mean that they wouldn't take a good deal. They may or may not be right about that, but if you think they're wrong, if you think a good deal is possible, then that's the sticking point, not the decision to not negotiate based on not thinking you can get a good deal.

IAEA statement on the damage of Iranian facilities associated with their civilian nuclear program caused by Israel so far.
The agency warns in particular that any damage to the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant would have catastrophic consequences for the region.

In case of an attack on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant a direct hit could result in a very high release of radioactivity to the environment.

Similarly, a hit that disabled the only two lines supplying electrical power to the plant could cause its reactor’s core to melt, which could result in a high release of radioactivity to the environment.

If Israel or the US attack Bushehr, it's because they want to cause a Chernobyl in Iran.

The Bushehr design is similar to Western reactor designs, and very different from the RBMK design at Chernobyl. The design differences are important, because it's precisely the inherently dangerous RBMK design that allowed Chernobyl to happen. A loss of power at Beshehr might lead to a meltdown and radioactive leak along the lines of what happened in Fukushima, but it would not produce a Chernobyl-style explosive excursion.

I'll say this: These are days of often deeply satisfying schadenfreude, of justice served, of due diligence due. YT is quite entertaining of late.

Not to say much, much woe won't be coming if the orange man in a coma vomits to his right.
