Should sanctuary cities be tolerated?

All law enforcement officers in the USA take a sworn oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Which means, one presumes, the amendment requiring probable cause and the amendment regarding self-incrimination. The Constitution does not limit those rights to people who show their papers. What the Constitution does not, as far as I recall, include, is a requirement that all agencies and persons be deputized to the executive.

I haven't posted any MAGA views.
Perfect example of a MAGA view. You deny what we can all read for many pages.
And no, being polite is a requirement.
Yet "polite" is undefined. Posters are keeping within the MA concept of politeness, but the extra measure you require (ie pretending you are not posting MAGA talking points) does not fall within a sane scope of politeness.

In most cases, ICE does not detain anyone without probable cause that they are here illegally.

How conveniently pathetic of you.

Most of my views cannot be associated with MAGA, you're just desperate to label and attack those who oppose you.

So why do you keep mentioning a group of people who commit fewer actual crimes than the general population as a whole? And you do it as if they are more of a threat to us than anyone else.
Well, to be fair, he's not quite doing that. He's arguing total numbers versus rates. If one illegal alien commits a crime, it is technically true that excluding all illegal aliens would reduce the total crimes in the country. If we presume as well that the presence of all those aliens has no other benefit, then his case is made. One can think of a few ways this might be considered overly simplistic, but horses for courses and all that.

Thank you.

One important reason to detain and deport all illegals is to reduce crime. Its just one of many reasons.

Except when they arrest citizens, invade the wrong houses, get the names wrong, and do whole-business roundups. Most cases are not all. Sheer utilitarianism leaves a pretty wide burned over patch. But in any case, if they have probable cause then they don't need to ask other agencies to provide it, right?

I get what he's doing. He's dehumanizing people who have it harder than he could possibly fathom.

Sorry you didn't say they were destroying america, you just called it national suicide.
Still wrong.

I have never said anything bad or negative about legal immigrants. I fully support them and support a generous and large yearly immigration and asylum policy.
