The Truth about RFK Jr

The worst part is that these maniacs are crazy enough to be dangerous but just shy of the amount of crazy necessary to be entertaining. If RFK were just a tad bit loopier he'd at least be fun to watch if he showed up at a press conference with blue skin from drinking colloidal silver, or were hospitalized for an ear candling mishap, or promoted Gwyneth Paltrow's jade inserts.

[Fred pulls the JAQalope's mask off]

Daphne: It was old Mr. Wormbrane all along!

Velma: Yes, he wanted to scare the townsfolk away from the lifesaving vaccines, because he was making a ◊◊◊◊ ton of money with his books and speeches, and probably a bunch of other scammy ◊◊◊◊.

Shaggy: Zoinks! But, like, maybe he was being mind controlled by the ghost of the worm that used to eat his brain, right?

Daphne: No, he's just ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ crazy.

Velma: Yep. More nutty than the Reese's warehouse.

Fred: Trust me gang, I know about entitled rich kids getting away with ◊◊◊◊ because of who their father is, or was. In all honestly, that's all I know about. I sure as ◊◊◊◊ have no idea how to tie a cravat.

Daphne: But we've got him right here, we caught him red-handed throwing vaccines into the volcano! We caught him in a net, unmasked him - mystery solved!

Old Mister Wormbrane (or a rotten accordian, it's hard to tell. Maybe it's just a rusty gate - it would make as much sense): And yet I've gotten away with it despite you damn kids, because this is the worst version of reality!

Scooby: Woof!

Shaggy: That's right, Scoob old buddy, old pal! We really gave it to the man, struck a blow for truth, or whatever...I'm so ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ hungry right now, who else is up for Uber Eats?

Scooby: Woof!

[Everyone laughs like a maniac, while they are beaten to a pulp by the Secret Service, which they deserved because they thought their dog could talk.]

At Science-Based Medicine David Gorski covered at the "Make America Healthy Again" Report in depth. He wrote, "What really struck me, however, was how few of the commission members have any expertise in medicine...Then, of course, many of the members have purviews in economic policy, rather than in medicine, research, public health, or science."

Just when you think they can't get crazier:

Trump FDA commissioner complains about 'throwing insulin" to diabetics

This is what bat ◊◊◊◊ crazy looks like:

You know, my mother's diabetic and has been on insulin for years. Despite being extremely careful for all this time about her diet, she has never been able to properly manage her blood sugar levels without the aid of insulin. I have two cousins the same who have been on insulin since shortly after birth (the younger is in his late 30s) and they're both the same.

Makary is an insult to every person suffering a chronic disease. He is nothing more than a ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ on the rear end of humanity.

ABC reported, "The agency [FDA] also sent letters to both Moderna and Pfizer last month telling them to expand the warning labels on their mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to broaden the people who may be impacted by the risk of heart inflammation as a possible side effect...“Here’s the bottom line: mRNA vaccines for COVID, according to estimates from Yale School of Public Health, saved 3.2 million lives,” Dr. Peter Hotez, a professor of pediatrics and molecular virology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, told ABC News."

CNN reported that Dr. Jay Bhattacharya promoted the lab leak theory as the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic in a meeting with NIH staff. "“If it’s true that we sponsored research that caused a pandemic – and if you look at polls of the American people, that’s what most people believe, and I looked at the scientific evidence; I believe it – what we have to do is make sure that we do not engage in research that’s any risk of posing any risk to human populations,” he said.

At SBM in 2024 Dr. David Gorski wrote an essay comparing the lab leak theory unfavorably with the zoonotic origin theory: "Conspiracy theories aside, however, I’ve been consistent in emphasizing that a lab leak origin for COVID-19 was possible. My position has simply been, since early on, that there has been no convincing scientific evidence for lab leak."

At substack Dr. Paul Offit wrote, "Typically, the FDA, which is a regulatory body, licenses vaccines; the CDC, which is a recommending body, determines who should get them. Now the FDA had usurped the CDC’s role. Makary and Prasad argued that recommending the Covid vaccine for high-risk groups younger than 65 was in line with other countries. However, other countries haven’t restricted licensure to only high-risk groups. By restricting the license for yearly Covid vaccines, the FDA has made use in healthy younger people “off label,” which will likely affect insurance coverage....During their town hall meeting, both Drs. Makary and Prasad used the word “transparency” several times. Nonetheless, they made their decisions about Covid-19 vaccines without input from their own advisory committee, without allowing for public comment, and without making themselves available for questions from the media or medical groups. RFK Jr. talks endlessly about ushering in a new era of “radical transparency.” Regarding these new recommendations, however, the opposite appears to be true."

BREAKING: Donald Trump and MAGA Health Secretary RFK Jr. get nightmare news as a super-coalition of Attorneys General from 19 states and D.C. band together to sue the administration over its "unconstitutional dismantling" of the Department of Health and Human Services. ~ Juhani Nurmi

There are two very different lab leak theories. One is that a natural virus was collected, and infected laboratory staff, who the infected people outside of the laboratory; in essence this is little different from a natural virus spreading from an animal, infecting people who then spread it. This form of lab leak is possible, though there is little evidence to support it, and more evidence to support a zoonotic spread. There is also a Chinese theory that the virus arrived with frozen fish or meat from outside of China, again this is fundamentally little different from the lab leak of a natural virus, or zoonotic transmission.

The second theory is very different, it posits that a virus was changed from being 'harmless' to being the pandemic virus by deliberate manipulation in a laboratory, 'gain of function'. There is considerable evidence against this theory. It does seem politically a more useful theory as it can be used to justify a number of policy decisions.

CBS News reported, ""I couldn't be more pleased to announce that, as of today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from the CDC's recommended immunization schedule," Kennedy said in a video attached to his post...Kennedy's move, announced Tuesday on X, appears to effectively shortcut a process set up by the agency's outside advisers to discuss and make changes to the CDC's influential vaccination guidance, which is directly tied to what insurers are required to cover and liability protections...Kennedy's announcement also goes further than the advisory panel, which had been weighing including pregnant women as among those who would remain eligible for COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, given their increased risk of severe disease and the fact that it could also help provide some protection to their newborns."

If I understand correctly, it sounds as if the policy is for children to be infected with the virus as their first exposure to an antigen.See my comment #1675. It also sounds as if the most recent decisions represent a deviation from the standard procedure of who makes them. What am I missing here?
