Trump's Second Term

As usual, he's lying:
But, also as usual, his supporters will continue to believe whatever he says despite their money going no farther.
I think we should stop calling them supporters.
That's not what they are. They are cult members or blind followers.
For instance, fans or supporters of sport clubs or teams are still able to realize and criticize the failure in a match and criticize their favorite team appropriately. When the team had a bad match or even a bad season, they don't act like their team is always playing brilliantly, but the official league chart is just upside down or fake news.

Donald seems to be using his architectural and designer skills on the Oval Office.

You've been fooled, that first one is an AI generated scene.

You can tell because they still can't quite get rid of that uncanny valley effect, it's especially true with the character on the right, look at its skin tone - totally unreal. There are also other tells, such as all the gold stuff, totally overboard, no person would think that looked presidential. Then there are the subtle tells that show the AI doesn't "know" what the image is meant to be such as when would a president of a country not wear a shirt and tie when formally meeting the USA President in the Oval office? There would be outrage all over the media if that happened, it would be so disrespetful.

Also, no, I don't think that's Donald. We've all been in homes with toddlers. Not enough toys, tiny little scooters and bikes, or plates of half-finished food lying strewn all over the place. Way too many expensive-looking things there, too, that's probably not a room little Donald is ordinarily even allowed into. They probably keep the doors locked.

@Darat: The person to the left wearing PJs is a dead giveaway, too. The AI might as well have given them four legs.

In my mind the voters are not responding much. Is there a good half of the country that have no idea what Trump is doing and do not care? At this rate we will never have the impeachment we should be having for the four years. If Trump survives 4 years. I think past 2026 he will burn out and just golf.
Why are we not yet at the November level? There should be 60-70% responding that this is not who we are.

It appears that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is alive and perhaps in somewhat reasonable health.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen confirmed Thursday night that he has met with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man whom the Trump administration said it mistakenly deported to El Salvador in March.

"I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return," Van Hollen, D-Md., wrote on X.

Well, if a Democrat senator all on his own can reach Garcia in El Salvador, why can't a posse of Trump's chicken-◊◊◊◊ operatives do the same?

Oh, that's right. They are chicken-◊◊◊◊ at being operatives. Like their master, no balls when it comes to the real crunch.

Surely some mistake. Surely this terrorist gangster wife beater would have asked him to pass on a black eye and a threat that dinner better be on the table when and if he gets home.

"When Japan negotiates with what Trump is saying it's akin to being extorted by a delinquent.
If Japan gives in, thinking it's a negotiation or a deal, and compromises on its position, it sets a bad precedent as a customary practice.
If you give money to someone extorting you, they'll just come back to extort you again."

Shinji-san, it IS being extorted by a delinquent.

It's not that they don't have the stones to do this (they likely don't but that's not the point), it's that they've achieved the desired outcomes:

- A brown man has been deported
- Liberals are triggered
- They've got to ignore "activist judges"
