Trump's Second Term

See how it settles.

−296.37 in the first ten minutes but the first ten minutes or so are always a but chaotic.

But what petrol manufacturers are going to go back to leaded fuel?
It won't work very well in modern engines, they don't need it now.

Small piston aircraft typically require leaded fuel - 100 Low Lead - so it’s still being produced. Alternatives are becoming available, though they’re hampered by increased cost and VERY limited availability. My more modern ROTAX engine can run on 100LL, but does better on 91+ unleaded, preferably ethanol-free.

Dow settled in to a steady climb but levelled off and looks to be sliding again.

+401.05

Has someone said something?

Looks like everyone who wants them can get Tariff exceptions, like Apple, as long as they kneel before the Orange Emperor.
That makes the China tariffs just very costly instead of existentially fatal

More law firms bend the knee and sell out to Donald.

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ bunch of ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊. They're going to provide free legal services to make sure that Democracy dies and gets buried with a stake through its heart so it never rises again.

I do wonder about this though:

I have a feeling that if the Empire fails and Trump loses power, and Dems come back to power, they'll be responding to his calls with "New phone, who dis? *CLICK*"

Reporter: The president of El Salvador coming to the white house Monday, does Trump want him to bring Abrego Garcia with him?

Leavitt: The supreme court made they are really very clear it is the administration's responsibility to facilitate the return, not to effectuate the return

REPORTER: Why would any of our allies work with us to isolate China in a trade war if we're treating friend and for alike?

LEAVITT: You'll have to talk to our allies who are reaching out to us. The phone are ringing off of the hooks. They need the United States of America.

If she was born with any sort of conscience at all she wouldn't be in that position. I doubt she'll develop one later in life.
She'll have a long* career as a Fox Blondie.

*Depending on the quality of the lifts and tucks.

The attorney for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador, says the government could not answer in court today when asked where Kilmar currently is.

Who thinks he's never going to be seen again?
I make it fiddy-fiddy.

Just in case you are tired about hearing about Trump's incompetence involving tariffs and immigration, you can cheer yourself up by hearing about Trump's incompetence involving Iran.

From: https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...ar-talks-despite-holding-key-card-2025-04-10/
Washington's decision not to coordinate with European nations about its negotiations with Iran on Saturday will reduce its leverage and make U.S. and Israeli military action against Tehran ultimately more likely...The United States did not tell European countries about the nuclear talks in Oman before President Donald Trump announced them on Tuesday, even though they hold a key card on the possible reimposition of U.N. sanctions on Tehran, three European diplomats said.

Brilliant move... don't talk to the people who might have the most knowledge and influence when you are trying to deal with Iran.
