The Gospel

Roadtoad, my life would be less without you and your insights, your tremendous writing gift, and the simple love that radiates from your posts. You care. I need all of that I can get in my life, to resupply my own caring, if for no other reason. (Athough there are other reasons, of course.)

Keep talking, buddy. To those of us who want to hear what you have to say, if to no one else.

Seconded.

What he said. We're listening, dude.

LOL. I think the toadman knows that people are listening to him. Every bloody month he's up for the language award (along with you too, my pretty miss). He's quite simply one of the most beloved members here, with groupies who hang on every word.

No, I don't think he seriously believe he's wasting his time.

*couch* she *cough*

Roadtoad is a woman?!

No.....Slingblade is.

Yep. ;)

Tricky, RT didn't ask for strokes. I just wanted to give some.
I try never to assume people know they're appreciated.

Chiming in RT - your words may not be read by the Edges and KKs, but are by me. And each time I find something new to think about. It is very easy for me to think all Christians are whackos (even though I'm married to one)
How long have you been married to your spouse that is a Christian? And was he a Christian when you married him? I'm just curious?

Why do you ask kathy? Is the implication that Christians can't marry anyone else?

Time to answer a direct question for me:

Would you consider it a sin against God if a Christian married a non-Christian?

I was trying to make reference to Mr. Green's line in Clue: "Mrs. Peacock is a man?!" I know you're a woman, though a good skeptic is always open to evidence corroborating his/her beliefs. :D

According to scripture, a Christian should not be "unequally yoked."

So, yes, it's likely Kathy would consider it a sin.

fowlsound, that's a very interesting question, which means of course that there's no way in Hell kathy will answer it.

We're still waiting for it.

It's like that old joke for the Application to Join the Mafia:

"Izza youse a girl? Or izza youse a boy? (Or izza youse a girl, oh boy!)"

I always thought that was the biblical argument against polygamy (though there's ample evidence in the bible to support polygamy as well...)

Wow, Clue! I loved that flick. Tim Curry....mmmmmmmmmm.
