I'm not buying this 'everyone should play nice' shtick being extolled by @angrysoba - Trans Radical Activists are vile, unscrupulous people - every single one of them. They will resort any means; accusations of bigotry, letter-writing campaigns to cancel people who speak against them, bogus complaints to employers, complaints to police, swatting and even personal violence against anyone who opposes their narrative in the slightest.
I make the same argument here that is made about friends sitting around a table. If there are ten LGBT friends sitting around a table, and one of them is a TRA, then they are ALL TRAs - if you are friends with a TRA, or if you parrot their talking points, then YOU are a TRA as well.

I will say again that the articles were each about gay men preying on gay minors. But because of your idée fixe you people are only capable of focusing on some sentences about "trans activism". No doubt you can make up a narrative in your heads that maybe the trans thing made them paedophiles, but that is not in evidence.
Besides, I mentioned before that this is just Choose-Your-Own-Adventure time. You could just as well say that the G in LGBT is what should lead you to lock up your sons, and I would not be surprised if some way down the line one or two of you get there as well, but at least for now you would recognize that as bigotry, I hope.
As for the idea that someone sitting round the table with a Trans Radical [sic] Activist, I think you have pinched that from a meme about Nazis, which is an unfortunate parallel isn't it? After all, again using the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure logic, I could say, if Gender Critical people turn up at a rally with Nazis or the National Front, and they say the same thing as Nazis and the National Front, then they are Nazis as well. Wouldn't that be a stupid conclusion to come to?

The mom's testimony begins around 43:10 and continues to about 46:10. Multiple other people spoke in support of the trans kid.
I didn't sit through everyone's testimony, but I did listen to a sampling of it. Most of it seems like the sort of thing you would expect (trans girls are girls, how dare you call them boys, transphobia is the real threat, etc). What I didn't hear was any actual addressing of the concerns of a parent who doesn't want their female child sharing a locker room with a male child.

In fairness, we don't yet have confirmation that this is how the teacher behaved, so we should keep in mind that we might not have an accurate picture of events. But the response at the meeting of the speakers in support of the trans kid came across as mostly not caring if that's how the teacher behaved. It seems like a lot of people would be OK with it even if the mom's account were accurate. And that's troubling even if her account turns out not to be.

To be clear, because I think Glenn v. Brumby was rightly decided then I must support ALL trans-rights initiatives, no matter how extreme or harmful. Are you even hearing yourself here? This is not just toxic ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊, it's Manichaean ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ to boot.

Update on University sports and Trans: No Trans "women" on the top teams now. (as voiced to us parents)
We were invited to 11th grade athlete recruiting at an Ivy League school.
About a dozen female students attended.....all from California.
Their pool still had Lia Thomas as the record holder on the wall, just as 'he' is at several other east coast schools.
However, the coach, who had a male team member playing in practice with the females, made sure to come tell us EMPHATICALLY, that the male was NOT on the team and was just there, as a Sr. class volunteer, to make practice more competitive.
Some of his pool moves made the female players just laugh at him, like "haha... no way I can match that!"
(But practicing against him improves their skills.)

The academics are coming to the conclusion that not only is having males compete against females 'not fair' but encouraging this mentality in the research has caused actual physical harm, extending out to other institutions, other studies.
To me, when it is in grade schools, it is child abuse. Plain and simple.
The permanence of these trans procedures is a disgusting mutilation of mind, growth, and often of healthy body parts.
It is a devastating permanence that lasts forever.
Shame on all the proponents. You ALL know this.
Do not continue to be advocates of abuse of young men, women and girls. No surgeries on kids to affirm., How GROSS!
