Serious comment: The separation of the Bill of Rights was intentional. The Bill of Rights recognized the rights that would be defended, while the bulk of the Constitution described the architecture of the government that would defend them.

Of course Nazi salute is in scare quotes, and just called a 'controversial gesture'.
I wonder when the media is going to start being consistent in their coverage. When people show someone the finger, media should say they 'made a gesture reminiscent of flipping someone off', and just refer to it as a 'controversial gesture'. Then they can bring in people to endlessly debate if they were really giving the finger in an offensive way or if they meant it in the old Greek way, where you did it to imply sexual intercourse or to ward off the evil eye. Or perhaps they could have Asperger and just be clumsy.

Someone doing the one-hand masterbation gesture where you pump your half-closed fist up and down? Oh, he probably just clumsily tried to pump his fist to imply enthusiasm, we can't be sure!
 
I suspect their careful wording is due to the relatively draconian libel laws in the UK.
 
In the anti-woke department DEI is the target of racism. But they have failed to erase these words from government:
"climate" "sustainable" and "green"
 
ok so now there’s multiple prominent republican political actors sig heiling at mainstream republican events while giving speeches.

My favorite line in that Guardian article: Nicky Fuentes says that Bannon giving the old Seig Heil was “getting a little uncomfortable even for me”.

When Nazi Fuentes says something like that, you have long passed plausible deniability. You're the Baddies.
 
Wonder if he said that because the Nazism itself makes him uncomfortable or if he just thinks they're showing their hand too early.
