The message was removed because it wrongly implied Trump's administration had any opinion at all on what becomes of Taiwan.
 
Questions from Mrs Don.

How are the DOGE children getting physical access to these buildings and systems ? Why is no-one physically stopping them ? How are they simply walking into secure buildings and plugging in their computers ?

What written authority do they have ? Why isn't building security or the director refusing access ?
 
Because they are Trump Appointees who are at least as afraid of Musk as they are of Trump - if the cops won't stop you and hold the door open for you, what's the point of asking whether what you are doing is legal or not?

Potentially, the people actually appointed to run the IRS, Social Security etc. are committing crimes by letting them play with the systems they are responsible for - crimes that will see them in prison for the rest of history; but they can expect a Trump Pardon, so why care about that?
On the other hand, one message from Trump or Musk to their mind-washed masses, and their personal life becomes a living hell.

The Russian takeover of the USA is complete. We thought the West won the cold war in 1989 but it turns out we were wrong.

Then again we also thought that the Union won the US Civil War in 1864 and we were wrong about that as well.

Grok comes from Heinlein, more specifically the novel Stranger in a Strange Land. It means "to know", albeit in a more complete sense than usually meant.

I'm always nervous of people who think the works of Heinlein are something to work to. While a great SF author, the man was a fascist and his political leanings are obvious in his books.

Yeah, that quote is false, it's literally not what he said. Even as a paraphrase it's wrong. There's a major difference between a statement about what should be and a statement about what is likely to be. Trump said it was unlikely that Russia would give up all the territory they seized, he did not say they should not give it up. And as a factual assessment, it's probably correct. Nobody is putting forward a plan that would actually make Russia pull out.

If Trump wasn't such a pussy he'd see now's the time to put the boot on Putin's neck and make him relent in Ukraine, for the sake of Russia itself. But no, he's kissing his ass for all the world to see, and why, what's in it for Trump? I thought he was supposed to be a bad-ass who stands up to anyone who pushes him. Sure doesn't look like it to me. And if Putin threatens nukes? Tell him we have them to, and are quite sure ours will work as intended, Russia's are as likely to blow up in the silo as take off, and we know it. Call his worthless bet, he'll back down, he wants to live more than anything. We've seen what their army is actually made of, and we can wipe the floor with them without even breaking a sweat. Pathetic, useless ◊◊◊◊ sack, yep.
