To be fair he's never bought groceries himself, he's never shopped in a supermarket, never had to buy milk nor eggs. It's a revelation to him (and therefore the entire world) that people buy groceries themselves, he couldn't be more out of touch with any average USA citizen.

Through Title IX and federal funding, the government essentially is a sports organization. The new rules only apply to sports organizations the government is involved in. And even there, JayUtah is wrong.
 
Introducing a new theme. A priority for Trump must be to appoint more members of the supreme court. The oldest is Clarence Thomas (R) age 76, followed by Samuel Alito (R) 74, Sonia Sotomayor (D) 70, John Roberts (R - swing) 70. My guess is there will be encouragement on Thomas and Alito to retire within this term so they can be replaced by ideologically sound lawyers. Sotomayer can probably sit out this term and potentially the next before she has to consider retiring. Roberts may need to retire in the next presidential term, but probably doesn't need to retire this term unless health problems arise.

Can we have +2 for Trump refusing to deport Harry and Meghan? Certainly this one statement has swung the UK behind him! (I appreciate this isn't an executive order so doesn't really count.) It is nice to know that occasionally Trump does someone good.

People shouldn't think about it that way.

It is not that bad news can only be discovered at a press conference, it is probably more likely that major press pulls its punches because it doesn't want its press credentials revoked.

Now, however, they have nothing to lose. They may as well report things as they want.

Also, not surprised that the so-called "Free Press" got a place at the table.

Bari Weiss is pretty much just a stenographer for billionaires and the worst kind of Trumpian people right now. Recently she had some gushing round table with a bunch of alternative medicine and anti-vaxx freaks like the Means person and the Food Babe.
 
Restricting access of the actual reporters to the White House of Pentagon or any other official government source is going to be very damaging for the nationalist-right-wing Press, since most of their content is complaining about the content of the center-, center-right outlets.
