Oh wow, Christina Applegate is getting a ton of hate from MAGA for posting that she is sad that her daughter is going to lose rights.
 
Not to tout a conspiracy theory, but it is curious that there was far less engagement (voting) this time around than last. An 18 million fewer total votes difference is quite odd, considering how hotly contested this election was.
 
I look forward to the return of Polio, SmallPox and many other diseases with RFK supposecly in charge of the US Helath system.

It may have to do with how hard the GOP made it to vote in many states.

I think a growing number of people are just do disgusted with thewhole process they just stay away.
I don't know how you fix this. Mandatory voting, despute the way the Aussies love it, is not an answer. Forcing people who are not interested in politics or the issues to vote will fix nothing.

Mainstreaming anti-vax nonsense is yet another possible generational threat posed by a Trump administration. That is If he is stupid enough to actually put RFK in charge of the FDA. And he is stupid enough.

I have a problem with your insufferable double talk and finger wagging at everyone for either being too upset or not upset enough.
 
I have never, ever been so ashamed and embarrassed to be an American. I now empathize more than ever with how the anti-Nazi Germans in the 1930-40's and anti-fascist Italians in the 1920-30's felt. Some people are just too stupid to learn from history.
 
I was reading an article in The Washington Post last week about the Van Buren Jinx - an incumbent VP has only been elected President twice in 188 years, him in 1836 and Bush in '88. In recent times, Nixon, Humphrey, Gore and now Harris tried and failed.

You have no power but are blamed for everything bad and you're treated as an incumbent, so you aren't seen as a change candidate and get tied to the President's accomplishments/failures. Nixon and Biden won after a break and could get some distance from that.

Yep. I had a higher opinion of people from the United States. Trump supporters will get what they deserve, that's for sure. Just a lot of other sane people in and outside US will suffer from this as well. :(
The election system also seems to lack a lot of safety nets. Every 4 years is basically a coin toss.

That book is part of the problem, Dems aren't asking what's wrong with our message, its what's wrong with people who won't vote for us? And of course, if someone doesn't vote for them, the must be racist morons.
 
I still can't understand why so many MAGA people are still talking about how Trump will finally get control of the crazy inflation.

It's 2.4%!!!!

Are these people blind? Or do they mean Trump is going to lower prices on literally everything?

Well, sometimes that's the truth, but some of my fellow republicans also use the old lie that, "libs are socialist, or communist, or Marxist" when they obviously don't even really know what that means. I never vote for those idiots.
