Kamala Harris Election Campaign

Classic American progressivism. The only good negro is the house negro.

Your projected racism isn't fooling anyone. No one is mocking Jackson for being black. She is mocked for spouting nonsense, for repeating racists nonsense that MAGA is spreading.

I'm trying to figure out just how you could honestly infer such a ludicrous idea from what I wrote. Jackson repeated blatantly false information that anyone not living under a rock or only listening to right-wing propaganda could possibly believe. Her race has zero to do with my comment and I think you know that.

I do think that prior to Trump the two major political parties had gotten too comfortable in being able to predict the other side.

That's why I think the whole "Analytics Fandom" has been so comforting to people the last few years. "If I can just moneyball all the numbers then I'll be in control again."

Apparently Janet didn't authorize the apology and the man who made the statement on her behalf is now fired. Per Forbes (it's a paywall but I had free articles):

Jackson’s team, however, clarified later on Sunday night that the apology was made by someone who is not her manager and was not authorized to speak on her behalf.

....

After the latest statement by Jackson’s team, Elmasri told the Daily Beast he had been fired by the musician “due to disagreements between me, her, and Randy, after her meeting with the Guardian and her unbalanced statements.”

Looks like Janet is standing by her statements, for better or for worse.

Someone needs to ask her, 'When did Michael Jackson turn white, because he used to be black?'.

According to Michael Jackson's Wikipedia page, his doctor started to suspect he had vitiligo (the thing that makes dark people's skin develop light spots that grow and merge together over the years) by 1983 and officially diagnosed him with it in 1986. So the treatments presumably began about then. And there just happened to be an available way to make dark skin lighter but not to make light skin darker. MJ ended up saying he had vitiligo in public in 1993, but the vitiligo part of his story didn't manage to spread very well and become just another part of what most people know about him, I guess because people perceived it as a cover story, an excuse for something else he wanted to deny.

he wasn’t a trustworthy person and was getting a bunch of other cosmetic work done. who knows what the truth was or even is

Harris makes a stupid mistake by stating she would support eliminating the filibuster to "restore abortion rights." There are several obvious problems with this, starting with the Supreme Court. Having decided that this was a states' rights issue, they seem like to find any such law lacking constitutional support. Even assuming it passes muster there, what's to prevent the next Republican administration, from banning abortion nationwide?

They could. If it was passed by the House, Senate and signed by the President.

You're forgetting the Supremacy Clause. National laws written by and passed by the Federal government have priority over all state laws.
