The Tim Walz campaign, and the ******** attacks upon him.

Have you seen the favorable unfavorable ratings of the VP and Presidential candidates running in this election? Guess who by far has the highest favorable ratings nationally and state by state?

I know what colloquially means. Again, Walz was very specific: His wife and he used IVF and not some other method to have their two children and that was why he opposed any efforts to ban it. Here are some examples:
Read what he said and then do some research into the history of medically assisted fertility treatments.

The key takeaway from this is that Walz' use of the term IVF as opposed to the more medically accurate IUI is that his lying is far, far worse than President Trump's claim that he won the 2020 popular vote by millions or that windmills cause cancer or that he was a great President.

The transparency of President Trump's lies are a clear indication of his fundamental honesty whilst Walz is clearly dishonest because his lies are far more subtle and corrosive.

And the most corrosive part is that they are not untruths.

I've seen some trends attacking Walz's son in an awful way. He's only 17. These are the same people who got apoplectic about any mention of Barron before he turned 18, whether good or bad. They're even comparing the two. **** heads.

So, that makes it look like you are calling both Barron and Walz's kid a bad name? I assume that's not what you meant to do?

I'm moderately reminded of the folks claiming Palin's youngest kid was actually her grandchild. Regardless, Trump and his crowd will get apoplectic about anything and then turn around and do it and even worse when it comes to name calling. And this is one of those things that goes back long way. Bush's daughters, Obama's daughters, Pretty sure even LBJs daughter was, attacked is probably overstating it but fodder for partisans. IIRC, wasn't Betty fords addiction a line of attack in ford? In the past it wouldn't be anyone directly tied to the campaign but now it might just be Trump or Vance doing it.

The only campaign ads I've seen so far are on youtube all either Biden, Harris, or Walz just talking to the camera.

I read it as him calling the hecklers a bad name, not the kids.

The whole family runs for office. Mitt Romney's kids got called out too. So did Chelsea Clinton. Tim Walz called out his son from the convention stage on national television. While the poor kid (who is neurodivergent) probably doesn't fully grasp what's going on, the rest of the family certainly does. Mom and sis are all part of the campaign. So if you're going to calculate the risk of showcasing your family as part of the campaign and ask that they join you in the public spotlight, you're asking them to consent to the torrent of garbage that is American politics. How they handle it is a family matter, but at this point I conclude that the Walzes are somewhat used to campaigns.

That said, the hypocrisy criticism remains valid. If minor Barron was off limits, then it's legitimate to expect minor Gus to be off limits.

The furor seems to be over a tweet from Ann Coulter that captions a still of Gus Walz crying and pointing to his father onstage with, "Talk about weird..." I haven't seen any comparisons between Guz Walz and Barron Trump directly. But the analogy is being drawn to Kyle Rittenhouse's breakdown in the witness box during his murder trial. Kyle's tears are apparently patriotic and appropriate, while Gus's are "weird." If this has gone beyond Coulter, I'm not aware of it.

Gus Walz is neurodivergent with a nonverbal learning disability. HE has trouble dealing with his emotions. Picking on him takes a special kind of *******.

Well, she's practically guaranteed to be gross and weird. Oddly, also broke with Trump mid way through his term, has she gotten back in?

He'll be picked on, and the Trump fans will adore Trump for doing it. They love when he picks on the disabled.

I've got a brother who is a union carpenter, is married to a school psychologist, and has an autistic son and he's been in lock step with the Orange Weakling every step of the way.
