America's population is up 40 percent over the last 35 years yet the number of grocery stores is down 33 percent. Most of that can be directly connected to mergers and consolidation.

Still do. Pretty much exactly the same. My kids learned everything I and my older brothers did, and they were born in the sixties.

Lots of Dems? I would say a few. The GOP is riddled with hypocrisy and they even celebrate it. Remember David Vitter? Hell, they celebrate the sex-offender Trump "standing up" against his accusers.

Because his oppositions calls them morons. More accurately, he's a clear thumb in the eye to everyone in power prior to him. The GOP base hates the Dems only slightly more than they hate the old GOP establishment. Trump, well, he's not that and the people they hate, hate trump. Its an impulse I understand, not enough to vote for Trump but I get it, sort of. I might vote for him if I was sure he'd loose, but my policy when I lived in San Francisco and Seattle was to vote for Greens because I wanted to poke a thumb in the eye to the establishment and it didn't matter who I voted for.

And your response for Trump supporters continuing to support him is that Trump sticks his thumb in everyone's eye. But you're right. That is why they support him.

He proves the effectiveness of negative politics and sowing division.
It is much harder to work with others for the betterment of all than it is to tear it all down for the benefit of a tiny few. The joke is on those Trump supporters who like to see him stick his finger in every one's eyes. As they aren't the tiny few that benefits.
 
True. His supporters don't understand that what he is doing also hurts them too. They don't understand that white supremacy does not pay the bills.
