It's not even that. That would be better.
These people know they are wrong. They know what they are saying is wrong. This isn't idiots who think they are smart, that's a dime a dozen. That's almost quaint at this point.
These are people who know they are wrong and are walking around with a chip on their shoulder daring us to notice it.
Watch I'll prove it. The response to this from any of them will be glibness, mock huffiness, adorable tough guy posturing, or a mix of the above. It will not be an explanation, even a laughably wrong one, of why they think they are right. Because they don't actually think they are right. They want to be wrong and it not matter because they are in charge and running everything.
Again when someone who has spent the last 6 years simping for man with no pants they know damn well when they point at a Democrat and go "LOOK! LOOK! THEIR FLY IS ONLY ZIPPED HALFWAY UP! EVERYBODY STOP AND TALK ABOUT THAT!" that we're going to notice their hypocrisy. They are counting on it.
Her stated policies where listed earlier in the thread.

That's not enough, he's asking for an actual step-by-step breakdown for every specific move she will make, with details on how she will do it. Anything short of that will be met with "I know she says it, but how" because that's all he's said the whole time.
Having that bar set he knows it can't be met because Trump doesn't have that either. Most POTUS candidates don't have that level specificity in their policy promises. He knows that, that's part of the "gotcha" fishing. That's what makes it so comical.
Yea, I don't think any candidate has done that in recent history. They state what their policy goals are, and sometimes a general tactic of how to do it.
That’s why _____’s first priority as president will be to give working and middle class families an overdue income boost. Under her plan, she’ll reverse President Trump’s trillion-dollar tax cut for big corporations and the top 1% and use that money to give a tax credit of up to $6,000 to working families each year.
That’s just the start. To raise wages, ______ will fight to empower unions, make a $15 minimum wage the national floor, and create stricter penalties for companies that cheat their workers.
While _____ fights for fair wages, she’ll work to constrain the rising costs that keep Americans up at night. She’ll pass her Rent Relief Act to provide a tax credit for people spending 30 percent or more of their income on rent and utilities. She’ll increase the federal government’s investment in child care to ensure working families don’t pay more than 7 percent of their income on care. And she’ll crack down on pharmaceutical companies that price-gouge while empowering the government to negotiate down the price of prescription drugs.
If Congress fails to send comprehensive gun safety legislation to _____’s desk within her first 100 days as president – including universal background checks, an assault weapons ban, and the repeal of the NRA’s corporate gun manufacturer immunity shield – she will take executive action to keep our kids and communities safe. She’ll mandate the most comprehensive federal background checks in history, revoke the licenses of gun manufacturers that break the law, close the “boyfriend loophole” to make it harder for domestic abusers to purchase guns, reverse President Trump’s dangerous decision to allow fugitives from justice to purchase guns, and ban the importation of AR-15 style assault weapons.
As president, _____ will fight to pass immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million people living in our communities and contributing to our economy. While she wages that fight, she will immediately reinstate DACA and implement DAPA to protect DREAMers and their parents from deportation. She will also restore and expand Temporary Protected Status for hundreds of thousands of immigrants who would face war or catastrophe if forced to return home.
_____ also believes we must fundamentally overhaul our immigration enforcement policies and practices—they are cruel and out of control. As president, she’ll close private immigrant detention centers, increase oversight of agencies like Customs and Border Protection, and focus enforcement on increasing public safety, not on tearing apart immigrant families.
Yea, you guys are definitely right. But just for laughs, let's look back in the past at another random presidential race and candidate to see how they compare.
Don't want to stretch this further but hopefully you get the idea. Or you don't. Hard to take this stuff seriously at this point.
Celebrating? Nah, and I know you were obviously using hyperbole, but we're definitely hopeful that she'll beat that blowhard.
There's certainly reason to be hopeful, and a whole lot of reason to be thankful that Biden dropped out. Kamala has had a good couple of weeks, but her campaign seems to be imitating Biden's in shielding her from the press. That won't work. The media is largely liberal, but at the same time they are insistent on doing their job, and they like nothing better than to make the story about them.
Can you just get to the ******* point?

I don't recall a candidate ever who didn't set impossible expectations.Sigh.. That is literally from Kamala's 2020 campaign. All the things you claim candidates don't do. All those impossible expectations. I am still trying to understand why there is so much animosity for this being pointed out.
Isn't this just more of the same crap that's been rampant for the last twenty years? Democratic candidates must be holier than angels and kinder than Jesus and more brilliant than Leonardo da Vinci and more moral than Superman and more appealing than Santa Claus. Meanwhile Republican candidates...well, let's just say the bar is a trifle lower on that side.
Underappreciated word, used to be in regular usage. I started using it in relation to Rush Limbaugh, works for Trump, too. Look at it literally: he blows hard, that is, he talks nonsense really a lot.Celebrating? Nah, and I know you were obviously using hyperbole, but we're definitely hopeful that she'll beat that blowhard.

I like how Samson's delusions have gotten so out of hand that there are now multiple cults directly entangled with the office of the president. This St. Elsewhere reboot is wild.
