That was proposed as an initial hypothesis, but photos taken immediately after the shooting show that both teleprompter reflectors were intact.

Sure, it was staged. They shot and killed the ex-fire fighter, and wounded the other person just to cover it all up.

Or, some sad sack with his dad's AR got lucky. I'm going with this one.
 
It's less than 24 hours since the shooting at this time. Social media is blanketed with lies and political spin, drowning out the few official statements from the FBI. For some reason people refuse to learn even though we've had enough high-profile events to make the average person a seasoned consumer of information. Yet so many continue to run with lies, and spread them. I'm guilty of this yesterday, I thought it sounded like a handgun, and I said so. I was wrong, and I was wrong to do so. I should have STFU and waited until I had more information.

Web sleuths can only do so much, and more often do a lot of damage. Right now the FBI, Secret Service, and the ATF are on the ground conducting the investigation. Again, we're less than 24 hours into this, and they have a lot of work to do.

I wish I had more faith in my fellow Americans, but the reality is disturbing.

Alex Jones now says that Sandy Hook was staged, but to make it look good they actually did kill a lot of kids and teachers.

A False Flag needs to run red with blood to be believable.

It's incredibly frustrating, especially from people who I expected to know better.

The anger from the trumpkins is scary, too. I mean, I knew it would come, but seeing them fuming in comment threads, even here in Norway, is downright frightening. Their Führer, their Holy cult leader, has been attacked, and they are up in arms, probably literally in the case of some of them. If I was a liberal or moderate, or, heck, a minority, in the States right now, I'd be downright terrified. I hope all of you are taking care.

This is when one local officer climbed to the roof and confronted Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder as Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump who was speaking on stage and that's when the U.S. Secret Service counter-snipers shot him, the AP reported.

My four best guesses:
1) The shooter was a MAGA nut whi got dissillusioned with his Führer, Ernst Röhm style.
2) The shooter hit his target. T****y was collateral
3) It was a false flag job.
4) The shooter was a republican come to his senses about T****y.

What is really outlandish is that the shooter was anybody who held political views to the left of Mussolini. All his assocations and identifications as currently revealed will make that highly unlikely.
 
Plenty to work with. If you are trumpy it was the Dems working with the CIA and FBI with all the success they had trying to kill Castro.

If you are anti-Trumpy, it was a false flag, Trump was working with the Russians, hired some guy who couldn't see straight and promised him something but got him killed instead or maybe they gave him a gun with all the accuracy of a carnival balloon bb gun.

I think its all rather straight forward. The guy probably had the same motives as a typical spree killer. Likely wanted to die and get famous doing it.
 
He had tried to join the high school shooting team but was deemed 'not good enough', so he was determined to show them that he was in fact good enough in the most public way possible, and once again proved he still wasn't good enough after all.
