Merged Protests disrupt college campuses / Campus Protests

Things apparently heated up at UCLA last night. A young Jewish woman was reportedly beaten unconscious by pro-Hamas demonstrators at the encampment. In retaliation, a group of about 100 young Jews attacked the encampment, attempting to tear down the makeshift plywood walls and bike racks that the protestors are using to seal the area off. Later pretty serious fireworks were lobbed into the encampment. Clearly this situation is out of control.

I see the republicans are now making the demonstratoins a campaing issue.
I am sure the protestors will be very happy with the kind of mideeast politcy Trump 2.0 will have.

Where the hell were the police?
If UCLA is in the LAPD jurisdiction, no explnation necessary. LAPD has shown it self to be pretty incompentent on many occasions.

UCLA has its own police force, which has primary jurisdiction on campus. It is their responsibility to call for LAPD assistance when needed.
 
Governor Newsom just blasted slow police response to the situatiln at UCLA
Somebody is to blame. And i stick to my statment that the LAPD is a badly ran, inept police force.
 
The UCLA clash will inflame the situatin, no doub about that.
I am afraid these demonstartons will pup Trump in the White House.
THen the protestors willl find out what REAL repression is...
 
Just saw the foorage of the NYPD clearing Hamilton Hall at Columbia.
Layer after Layer of barricades, much damage to the hall.
SO much for this being a 'Lawful protest".
it sort of pathetic to see some on the left sound exaclty like the morons on the right when the latter were apologing for 1/6.
BTW the NYPD seems to have done it right, cleared the hall without , as far as I know, any injury to anybody.
I hope they take the names of everybody arrested in the hall, give the list to Columibs, and and Columbia divide the costs of repair and bill those responsible.

I find it highly ironic when people who complain about the presence, if not mere existence, of law enforcement instead criticize police for not immediately being out in full force whenever they need help. You can't really have it both ways.
 
Jordan Peterson has called the female students who are protesting on college campuses, "childless harpies".

That's just to make sure we balance out the brain rot on both the left and right.
