Probably not, what with putting an Eye of Sauron... err... glowing X on his lair and a bunch of other nonsense, the guy is bona fide Super-Villain material. He probably imagines himself as Lord Chungus sitting on a throne of skulls while his Terminators hunt everyone else down, as opposed to operating the soupifier for the robots... or more likely, you know, being a part of someone else's skull throne.

Elon Musk has said X, formerly known as Twitter, will pay the legal bills of anyone who is treated unfairly by their employer for their activity on his social media platform.

On Sunday, Mr Musk told users that financial assistance from his platform would have "no limits".

He asked users to "let us know" if they had experienced unfair treatment for posting or liking something.

A recurring tension with these right wing freaks is that they hate "cancel culture", but they also love the libertarian concept of at-will employment which makes a boss firing an employee for their embarrassing social media content generally legal.

Outside the small minority of Americans with employment contracts (say, a union worker), musk's promise here is totally empty because getting fired for being a racist on Twitter isn't illegal.

Thanks for the history lesson. Musk has never been a Boer and neither were his parents or grandparents for that matter. They may all have been rank asshats but they were not Boere.
 
How do you know? Apartheid isn't some distant relic of the past, Trevor Noah isn't that old and his birth was a crime because his mother was black and his father was white.

How does Tofu Fighter know Elon Musk is not a descendent of Dutch settlers? Surely this would be a matter of more or less public record, no?

Besides, TF is himself South African if I recall correctly so he probably has some insight into this.

I Googled the answer. His mother was a Canadian, so not a Boer. His father was descended from an Englishman (great grandfather Harry Musk born in Exning, Suffolk, England). Also not a Boer.
