CNN reports that at least one of the charges is conspiracy. Daily Mail reports that one charge is violation of the espionage act.

According to the Guardian there is at least one conspiracy charge, one obstruction charge and one unlawful retention of classified documents. Not sure about the other four.

Contrary to Trump's social media posts, his retention of the documents is nothing like that of other Senior officials. They did not refuse to return documents when they were discovered. They instantly cooperated. Trump in contrast refused to cooperate. Trump knew he had these documents. And then he tried to hide them.

He has no one to blame but himself.

The only thing that would make me happier than Trump being indicted is Trump being convicted. That's going to take at least of year, if not longer. But, unlike many or our resident nay sayers, I'm patient.

I'm undecided which would make me happier: Trump losing the election or Trump being jailed. Hoping for both at some point.

The other four charges are:

4. Felony embarrassment of the United States

5. Criminally moronic behavior

6. Idiocy in the First degree

7. Excessive trumpiness

The jury selection process is going to be quite interesting. Can they even find 12 people who can be at least somewhat objective?

In FLORIDA?

I think they can.

I can't stand Trump, but I know I can be objective and know that I would be. My only questions would be What's the law? and is there evidence that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant broke those laws?

It's going to be challenging. But I do think it can be done.

This!

Plus, will Trump be so arrogantly foolish to believe he can win in federal court and not take some sort of plea bargain agreement.

One of the commentators on CNN said that a jury would be drawn from Palm Beach county since that is where Mar-a-Lago is located. But I don't think that is true. I was called for jury duty for a federal case and potential jurors were there from all across the district. Some drove hours to get to the courthouse and stayed overnight in a hotel the night before jury selection was to begin.

The Southern district covers nine counties in South Florida.

Great news. The early cases against him have shown these new ones what to prepare for.

Not a lot of chance of his old tricks actually working anymore.

In FL, it's going to be tough to find 12 jurors capable of being objective. Maybe look for people who live in the swamps with no access to TV or radio with an IQ over 70?
