Herschel Walker Says He’s a Model Dad. He Has a Secret Son.

I wonder how the GOP will interpret the losses of Walker and Oz?

They've been working in this world where democrats that get elected are done so because of the "Cult of Personality" or Identity Politics. Al Franken was just a celebrity, and Obama, well, he was just elected because he was black.

And they've had their success with "celebrities" in the past with Fred Grandy and Sonny Bono and, heck, even Donald Trump. So it's about celebrity!

And they lost the Senate last time in Georgia because Warnock was black. So all they need to do is to play that game of Celebrity or Identity politics, and then the can get those voters.

But it didn't quite work that way. It seems that voters do care about things like, whether someone is actually representing them or has a working brain cell. Oz's biggest failure that he couldn't overcome was that he wasn't even from Pennsylvania. Walker was, sure, a Georgia Native Son, but he couldn't get past the fact that he was completely unqualified and was set up merely as that Token Black Guy to check the Identity Politics box.

They just don't get that Al Franken was elected because he had the skills to be a damn good Senator. And Obama wasn't elected just because he was black.

But that's what they think.

This so funny. Libs barely beat a guy with apparent brain damage, and they think it shows that their policies are solid amongst the voters.

Honest question: What makes you think brain damage is a disadvantage in Georgia?

How I love this..like, really, the laughter.

"You didn't beat my embarrassingly terrible party bad enough" continues to not be the own that you think it is. Especially coming from someone who has repeatedly found themselves in agreement with someone they now describe as having brain damage.

Why should it be? Almost half of the people in Georgia proved they're brain-damaged yesterday.

Seconded!

While I am quite pleased that Walker lost, however I am still amazed at how nearly half of the Georgia electorate could actually vote for a person like Walker to be Senator Walker.

A great many people are Mickey Mouse voters; They will vote for anybody who has a R or D at the end of their name; it's the undecideds who decide most elections.
What is amazing to me is how he got the nomination. THe Georige GOP certainly had some body who was a better candidate.

Well only a complete moron would think the Dems "narrow" win is a shot against them.

And to be clear, only a person with a real intelligence deficit could see it that way.

Really, I wouldn't give someone like that the time of day.

Personally I ignore these types of people.

1 ignore

2 be happy.

:D

Hey, at the time he was an upstanding family man who hadn't paid for multiple abortions.

It still boggles my mind that they would rather support someone who has actually paid to have his child(ren) aborted but insists he is now pro-life than someone who is admittedly pro-choice.

I've even seen people today stoll saying Warnock can't be a Christian because he pro-choice, so they voted for Walker.

Dems barely beat a candidate that they openly consider to be mentally-retarded. And they are dancing in the streets.

I laughed as I typed it. :D
It all depends of course on how you look at it.

One could also say just as easily that a Democrat won in a Republican state. Most people vote their parties but obviously this time many did not. Should more have? So I would think, but others think otherwise.

Sure, maybe the Democrats could have done better. The Republicans sure could have. But what resulted in the end was that the Democrats won in a Republican state. Whether that victory was as big as it should have been is food for thought, both regarding the inability of Democrats to appeal to many voters, and the ability of a preposterous candidate like Walker to appeal to so many. But the upshot remains the same: A Democrat won in a Republican state.

that's why you have to spay and neuter them when you get them as pets.

I'm thinking of cross breeding vampires and werewolves to produce a 'designer' creature: Vampwolves. The vampire part keeps the werewolf part from shedding as badly and the werewolf part allows the vampire part to use the dog run to crap during the day. I'll be able to sell them for more money than a purebred vampire or purebred werewolf!

But he still didn't have the guts to call Warnock personally to concede. He had a staffer do it.
It's from his football days. Learn to say the right graceful stuff on TV when your team loses, even if you don't mean it. Kick the team mascot and throw stuff in private in the change room. Don't go out for a beer with the opposition team.

Given how important this Senate Seat was for the next 3 years and beyond, declarations of how much Right-wingers don't care about losing ring hollow.
