And that in ten minutes for some 40 minutes speech and an over an hour discussion. That guy is quick!

Wouldn't it be deeply satisfying to give a time in the video when you are proved correct? Then people would stop associating you with myriad other conspiracy theorists who are just can't be bothered to provide the evidence that they say they have.

Why should I listen to this clown on that clown forum? Gonzalo Lira based his video on it and The Don is the guy who doubted that the basis is real. I gave him the primary source material and he obviously made up that he watched it as his reply came just ten minutes after I posted it. Clear cut case. I'm not watching hours of that scumbag to find out when and in which form he mentioned that he is "concerned about Zelenski's security". Do it yourself, report the results.

That will have depend on where you place the starting point of such a counter-offensive. It might have started, without there having been any big direct attempt at taking territory yet IMO.

That's an opinion that surely can be had.
Indeed, Putlerists could very well opine that the Ukrainian offensive began in 2014, or with the Orange putsh attempt, or the breakup of the USSR, or with Bandera...

I think that preparing for an offensive, whether by acquiring weapons, training, deployment is not an offensive, or starting it. Maybe increased artillery efficacy, behind the lines sabotage and initial probing incursions count as starting an offensive. Maybe in hindsight. That's up to you if you want to count it as such.

My point is that we cannot declare at this point with objectivity that CE's prediction that there will be no counter-offensive has already proven wrong by there being one.

You didn't watch the video, but you know what's in it?

I'm not the one making the claim. Conspiracy theorists have a habit of telling people to do their own research, which is because they haven't done it themselves and are hiding behind the hope that those people will be unwilling to slog through a bunch of crap trying to do the claimant's work for them. Long-ass YouTube videos are a favorite tool for such evasive tactics. If you're claiming the statement is in those videos, then show it to us. Or ignore it and move on. It's not like your credibility is at stake. And I don't mean that ironically.

Of course he said it like Gonzalo Lira claimed. You can now change to denying what that implies.

Has anyone claimed that grain silos were hit ? The BBC didn't make that claim.

An attack on port infrastructure is still a violation of the "grain deal"

Does anyone even think the Russians can shoot accurately enough to hit a grain silo? They just wanted to disrupt the operations of the port so it can't ship grain, actually destroying a silo is likely beyond their capability except in cases of dumb luck.

Thanks for the tip with subtitles, The Don. I wasn't aware of the transcript option.

Thank you.

Of course the statement wasn't as billed, it was a comparatively anodyne statement about Zelensky's personal safety, during wartime, when dealing with Russia.

This depends very much on what you consider properly a "counter-offensive". There is some small forward movement of Ukrainian units (on the scale of individual villages) in limited parts of the very long contact line, in an area that is not nearly as fortified or equipped with men and material on either side as the Donetsk region is. Some commentators say this is a harbinger of a coming counter-offensive - you seem to think it already is one. Matter of opinion, not fact, at this point.

I don't really have an opinion. I'm referring to ISW's.

Ukrainian officials are increasingly acknowledging Ukrainian counteroffensive operations in Kherson Oblast. (understandingwar.org)

This appears to be just the beginning of something larger.

See, this is an example of why you lack credibility.

Sullivan never says anything remotely like what you attributed to him. All he said is that he's concerned because Zelenskyy is a prime target in a war zone, but that he takes precautions based on the risks. Like, no ****. Do you really think that's a revelation to anyone?

So how do you feel about his other statement that Zelenskyy's Russian enemy is "ruthless, brutal and capable of just about anything"? It must be killing Vlad that Zelenskyy has yet to accidentally fall from a five story balcony yet.

Thank you.

Unsurprisingly CE had been successfully been made to believe nonsense again.

Gonzalo Lira, who is in Kharkov, points out that Jake Sullivan at that dopehead conference in Colorado said that the little comedian should better watch his back. And that is indeed an interesting point. I thought for quite some time now that if z had a working brain, he would have already fled to Israel. And not because of the Russians.[snip]

That is a little far fetched. But then again you said Pulerists.

That is more like it. But I would argue the hindsight, if there are certain operations that serve as a prelude so to speak to a bigger incursion. Offensives very rarely are happenstance.
