IIRC Sweden is shipping 5000 AT4 single use anti tank weapons. Other than being single use, it's more or less comparable to the Carl Gustav. It's not guided line the NLAW but it's still a highly regarded weapon.

The Nazis are invisible, incapable of being seen, yet their presence and influence is everywhere. Clearly the only way to "denazify" Ukraine is by bombing everything and everyone.
 
It's a brilliant piece of propaganda though. All countries have some extremists and we've seen how utterly and beyond all sanity obsessed so many people are with the whole "Okay but it's vitally important that I point out now, right now, that the side being victimized isn't perfect" stupidity.

Twitter doesn’t really tell anyone anything. The people posting on Twitter, on the other hand, might be or might be lying. It is best to apply the same rules of skepticism to what you find on Twitter as any other medium.

The thing is that the "extremists" they are talking about, the so called "neo-nazis", do not actually exist. There are neo-nazis and other far-right extremists in Ukraine, make no mistake about it, but they are not the "neo-nazis" the Russians are talking about.

According to Russia propaganda for the last 8 years or so, the "neo-nazis" are in control of the government, which is often refer to as a "military junta" based on the lie that the former Russian puppet president was overthrown by the military. These "neo-nazis" control everything in Ukraine. Their "neo-nazi" media is only about discussing the myriad of gruesome ways they are going to slaughter innocent Russians, 24/7 every day of the year. Long lists of mostly false or exaggerate "crimes" that they are behind are regularly show up on Russian TV and in newspapers. The extreme lengths the Russian propaganda goes to describe their evil is clearly seen in reports of the fake "crucifixion" of a young child.

The reality of the Russian propaganda is that these "neo-nazis" almost always end up being all and any Ukrainian. The Russian military practically refereed to Ukrainian military casualties as "nationalists", with the unmistakable implication that anyone who resists them is a nazi. That's one of the major paradoxes of the Russian invasion. They claim to be all about being friendly with Ukrainians and "liberating them" but in reality there is barely hidden contempt and often outright hatred of them in official Russian discourse.

Putin's body language when he was telling the Ukrainian military to overthrow the government is a great example. He doesn't come off as friendly at all but rather angry and resentful. Same thing when he described the Ukrainian people as a whole as essentially ungrateful children that "squandered" everything Russia has given them. This is said with anger, not regret.

Childlike Empress once called him a "real American Hero", after he was quoted saying the only way he would ever return to the US would be riding on top of a Russian tank.

Hard to argue anymore that it was all western propaganda from the MSM and Putin never had any intention of invading and we were all deluded sheep, when he then invaded.

Either she is a troll and has given up, or she genuinely believed it and the cognitive dissonance is now too much.

BBC had an interesting article on how Russian propaganda seems to have lost its edge, the world just doesn't believe it any more. Until now Russians always were experts at plausible deniability, right up to the point when they invaded, even I was thinking well, it could just be military exercises, as unlikely as it seemed. And Putin denying there were any invasion plans, and he had no intention of invading...

But then he invaded, and suddenly we can see that he was flat out lying, was lying all along, and was almost definitely lying about absolutely everything else he has been accused of and denied in the past, from Russian troops in Ukraine to poisonings abroad.

So the veneer of deniability has been lost. No one will believe him ever again.

I make a point now when responding to troll posts to point this out, and tell them that the their propaganda doesnt work anymore, the world no longer believes it. They really dont like that, but actually have little defence, its surprising. They are used to people trying to argue the toss or explain why they are wrong etc etc. But the simple refusal to believe them and labelling their comments as obvious Russian propaganda is very effective.

The loss of plausible deniability is by no means the worst of Putin's mistakes, but it may well have long term consequences.
