Steve Kirsch? He's an anti-vaxx crank. (which means Joe Rogan will probably have him on his podcast before long).
He's been talking about excess deaths being due to vaccines since the vaccines came out, even though it has been shown to him that these excess deaths occurred at a huge rate prior to the vaccines, and then dropped as the vaccine roll-out occurred.
He has also been dumpster diving in VAERS throughout this. I saw him doing a couple of debates. On one of them he arranged for a debate with someone who wanted to show him what he was doing wrong with his data, and he brought on about twenty other people who were spewing just about every colour in the anti-vax rainbow and then some that I didn't even know existed. Everything from vaccines causing autism, to bringing back hydroxychloroquine etc...
I would expect this to be more of the same.
ETA: Holy crap... had a scan through that document and Kirsch is a really terrible writer:
Anyway, he cites some information from an insurance company saying that excess deaths are up, but also points out that the CEO of the same insurance company wants all employees vaccinated. Insurance companies are actually quite good sources of information in the sense that while "Big Pharma" might want to put drugs out even at the risk of the population, insurance companies don't like losing money and tend to price in things like that. This is one of the reasons why, for them, if they think the vaccines are safe, they would want people vaccinated instead of getting sick with Covid and leading to longer term, expensive care.
Anyway, Steve Kirsch may or may not know this, but figures his rube followers don't think or know about it, but as Plaingale pointed out way back, the flu leads to excess deaths from people who initially recover and then die later due to a weakened immune system. The same trend seems to have been shown from severe Covid sufferers who also tend to die within a year even if they recover. So it does not matter that Covid numbers are "way down".
