Where Pixel comes from, members of parliament schedule live face time with their constituents. These meetings are supposed to be actual sitdowns across a table in a council hall or church annex or some such place. (Covid has changed that, but not really too much; the UK has its Schmecks.) This a commendable practice. Every democracy should make it a habit.
The Prime Minister is a member of parliament just like any other. The Brits here will correct me, but I think he too is expected to get dirty, excuse me, get close to his constituents sometimes.
Isn't that the oddest thing you ever heard of?
