They don't. Law and Order needs facts to make sense and we are in a post facts world.

Bannon will defy the subpoena and probably get away with. Trump will defy the subpoena and definitely get away with it if they try to subpoena him.

We are not going to get justice for Jan 6 or anything thing else that happened under Trump.

Remember how, when you were a teenager, there was always that one guy in the group who thought it was really sophisticated to point to a passing girl and say something like "yeah, I'd do her- if I had enough beers first," and then think him being the only one laughing at his wit was enough to validate it? Yeah- it's like that.

And the ironic thing is that "angsty edgelord teenager" is quite possibly the real reason the young lady in the story did what she did. So she and Warp probably have at least that much in common.

In other words the Leadership Principal: The will of the Furhrur, excuse me ,Leader is the surpreme law of the land. Where have we heard that before?

The Dems cannot afford to back down. Send out US Marshalls to arrest his butt.

I agree, and it's more of a matter of respect than anything at that point. A former president's crony, well disavowed crony really, defying a congressional subpoena on his authority and being allowed to get away with that is complete disrespect for the rule of law. They can't let that go unchecked, especially to a guy like Steve Bannon.

But they have a really poor track record of accountability, which is why Steve Bannon feels empowered to do that. That is what needs to end.

Below, Riley Williams' mug shot. She's no glamour girl but she seems reasonably attractive. Physically anyway. The kind of person she appears to be is NOT attractive.

You know, this is starting to make me wonder. Why did they have to shoot and kill Ashli Babbit? I mean, no physical confrontation of this unarmed lady, no warning shot (is that even a thing?), no Taser...nothing? Just how great of a threat was she?

Nuff said on the credibility of this 'report'. The fact is that Ashli Babbitt was engaging in illegal activity having broken through the window with a mob behind that was just steps away from the House Chamber doors. They were were calling to hang Mike Pence and specifically looking for Nancy Pelosi. Unluckily for her, Babbitt was the first coming through the window. Lt. Byrd warned them to stop and they didn't. There is no one to blame but Ashli Babbitt and this turning her into a martyr by Trump and his ilk is just another example of their sick and twisted determination to turn her into a martyr.

Were there any other options besides deadly force? Seems obvious that there were.

As I say, I am not siding with the "report"...but I am opening my eyes to the simple fact that there were other alternatives to deadly force, certainly.

Deadly force should be the last choice for an officer, not the first. Or do you disagree?
