Bargain hunters pounce as Trump condo prices hit decade lows [politico.com]
NEW YORK — The building has stunning Manhattan skyline views, its spa offers deep-tissue massages, and the fancy restaurant off the lobby serves up prime steaks. Best of all, many apartments at the Trump World Tower are selling at a deep discount — assuming the buyer doesn’t mind the name over the door.

“Fifty percent of the people wouldn’t want to live in a Trump building for any reason ... but then there are guys like me,” says Lou Sollecito, a car dealer who recently bought a two-bedroom unit with views of the Empire State Building. “It’s a super buy.”

The purchase price was $3 million, nearly a million less than the seller paid in 2008.

FB has changed its policy regarding suspensions for politicians:
Nick Clegg, the company's vice president for global affairs, said in a post Friday that once the two years is up, Facebook "will look to experts to assess whether the risk to public safety has receded. We will evaluate external factors, including instances of violence, restrictions on peaceful assembly and other markers of civil unrest. If we determine that there is still a serious risk to public safety, we will extend the restriction for a set period of time and continue to re-evaluate until that risk has receded."

Clegg framed the two-year suspension, which came after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building, as "long enough to allow a safe period of time after the acts of incitement, to be significant enough to be a deterrent to Mr. Trump and others from committing such severe violations in future, and to be proportionate to the gravity of the violation itself."

Clegg also announced new rules for "enforcement protocols to be applied in exceptional cases such as this." The change comes in the wake of the unprecedented step the company took of indefinitely suspending Trump in January -- and after its independent oversight board rebuked it for the arbitrary nature of that suspension.

He won't; it's literally impossible for Trump to change his rhetoric. If anything, it will get worse as pressure mounts from possible indictments and trials as mental health experts have said.
 
Pence continues to prove that he is one of the most gutless wimps in history.

He ruined his chances for being POTUS with the Trumpkins when he actually stood up for democracy and followed the law on Jan. 6. But if he were a flavor of ice cream, he'd be sugar free imitation vanilla.

If that's true, he is a moron. He is hated by the Trump base and most people see him as gutless. He has zero chance of being POTUS.

Trump is not gone. He wields enormous influence among the many millions of people who voted for him. He will have a lot to say about who wins Repub primaries in 2022, and will be the Repub presidential nominee in 2024 if he wants to be. Trumpism is nowhere close to over.

While I guess you are right with the others, I disagree with the bolded.

Too many people more powerful than him got their fingers burned from the nutter last time, to let it happen again imo
