I have no illusions that Trump was anywhere near flawless. You seem to have considerable illusions about Biden. It is one thing to prefer him as your candidate of choice, but to not even recognize that he has always been a liar, that this wasn't a one-off but rather one of many examples of the sort of man Biden is, well, that's just choosing to be a rube.

Yes, on almost every factual claim he made. He did go to law school in and he did graduate, but basically everything else about his performance was pure fiction.

They weren't verifiable academic achievements. They were verifiable bald-faced lies. Given that they were verifiable lies, it should make you question why he would make them up in the first place. Did he honestly think he would get away with it? Because he didn't.

Quite the vacuous "defense" for going back more than 3 decades to try to find something to attempt to ridicule people with... for being glad about the observation that Biden wasn't being a bloviating, narcissistic, and lying idiot during his very, very recent appearance - or in general for the past fair few years.

A summary of my thoughts on Biden:

- He is a reasonable and compassionate human being.
- It is admirable that he worked hard to overcome his speech impediment.
- He is an ambitious politician who has managed to reach the top of the US political dog pile.
- He will prove to be a rather average POTUS
- His time in office will go a long way to repair the damage to US relationships with their allies.
- He has undoubtedly said things in a political context that were not true.
- He is in no way senile or demented, but he does have some of the physical infirmities common in older persons.

Not my candidate. Not even my country. Merely the observations of a mostly impartial observer who thinks the USA and its citizen, and the rest of the world, deserve so much better than the past 4 years of Trump.
 
Biden posting feet is the only thing that can heal this divided nation. Let us all see them tootsies.
 
I do find it amusing that Biden is condemned as a liar by the right, but Trump is praised for his covefe and that fact that he can speak the truth in that he knows his own name.

Cons really want a one party government in the US, and those here would have been happy with The Chosen One as President for Life.

But Biden *must* be ill or have dementia because he speaks carefully.

Their description starts with

And proceed to list scads of pro-Trump sites.

Needless to say, comments are disabled.

Post election, they simply vomit clips from Newsmax, Fox and Trump rallies, no discussion, comments, debate, nothing at all. Just pointless clips from pointless outlets.

As a source, I would recommend it if you are unsure about suicide. It would certainly push anyone over the edge.

So then why do you object to me pointing out, contrary to smartcooky's claim, that Biden does brag about himself and tell lies? Because that's all I pointed out. None of your listed thoughts on Biden actually contradict what I said, so why the objection?

Not actually relevant. The first video is entirely Biden's own words. The second video I time stamped to Biden's words along with a contemporary fact check on those words pointing out the false claims. None of that stuff is in dispute by anyone, including Biden himself.

Do you deny that he is a liar and a braggart? Or do you accept that, but still back him for other reasons? The former would mark you as a fool, the second does not.

I don't really care if you prefer Biden to Trump or anyone else. I don't care about your opinions of Trump. I don't care if you think he will be a good president. But smartcooky's claims about him are still wrong. And none of the response to me, none of this indignation or tu quoquery, actually even attempts to argue otherwise.

When you have to go back over 3 decades to find an example, you are demonstrating the opposite of your claim that he does. You are demonstrating that he did, once, a long long time ago.

As a whataboutism to deflect from Trump criticism, this was weak even considering the source.

He certainly appeared to be, in 1988.
Biden certainly suffers from Foot in Mouth, and wouldn't have been my choice for President. Though anyone, even a different Republican would have been better than the one who fomented insurrection.


In Terms of his lies, have anything more recent? Say the past decade?

Has he spoken at a press conference recently to talk about how awesome he is, and how much more he knows of everything over everyone else?

Has he claimed to be the great Chosen One?

Did he lie during the recent press conference?

Or are you just looking for gotchas to show how much worse democrats are over Republicans?
 
Oh I see we reached the "I will now pretend Trump never existed and I didn't spend four years defending his every move" stage.

I have an innate talent for noticing hypocrisy. And a big failure of mine is that I cannot resist pointing it out. You know, defender of a major liar is compelled to attack another person for doing the same thing (to a much lesser degree).

So how about my "considerable illusions" re Biden? Going to follow up with examples, or just carry on in the Trump-like manner of pretending you never said it. Which somehow makes it "not a lie"?
