**** analogy remains **** analogy. Quelle surprise.
It is more a political mass movement than a deadly plague, imvho.

And there are logical errors. You have to account for all the excess deaths somehow. Pretending they are not there is no way explanatory.
FTFY.Seriously, you explain to me how Christianity became so popular and I think it will go a long way toward explaining belief inthe Covid Plague, or Pandemic, whateverridiculous Covid conspiracy theories, anti vax BS etc.

There are some Covid-19 deniers that deal with the high excess deaths differently. Rather than denying they occur, they simply say they are caused by the lockdowns and oxygen stealing masks. Deniers gotta deny.
James DeMeo for instance. He's also a Orgone proponent.

For 2.6 millions it was quite deadly; as for a political movement, it's the deniers attempting to make it political for whatever reasons rattling around in their denying heads. It is more a political mass movement than a deadly plague, imvho.
Another look at the Excess Deaths facts:

Nonsense. Christianity became popular, sure, but that does not mean we can't conclude that trees are green.Seriously, you explain to me how Christianity became so popular and I think it will go a long way toward explaining belief in the Covid Plague, or Pandemic, whatever.
A world wide political mass movement involving every type of right wing to left wing governments all with the common political goal of ????
Are you using the word "movement" as being interchangeable with "conspiracy"?

The screwed-up nature of polarised American politics means that each half of the country doesn't want to seem to agree with anything they associate with the other side.
A chunk of people think mask wearing would signal they agree with people they oppose. Hydrochloroquine is magic. Masks are slavery.
It's all crap. And when the disease is beaten by vaccines and becomes just another problem like seasonal flu, it'll all just fade away.
Meantime the other 95% of the human race is just getting on with it, unburdened by insane US politics.
Did you actually read any of that article, like the part near very beginning, which they prominently bolded, stating: It’s important to note that mRNAs are a normal component of all cells and the specific ones discussed here are not involved in mRNA-based vaccines, like the one developed against SARS-CoV-2.RNA changes and cancer, from Sloan Kettering in 2018, and they are all so uneducated!!!
