Couldn't agree more, and I've posted some info along the way on the worthlessness of the masks from some medical researchers and FrontLine Doctors but those here don't care to read or absorb any of this info.

I give my daughter and her kids a big credit for getting on a plane in Dec and spent their holiday at a mexican beach, full plane, no empty seats, yes masks but they pulled them down when they felt like it. They spent a wonderful holiday in fun and Freedoms, and came back safe and well.

Even if that were true, the utter disregard you demonstrate for the value of their lives is, frankly, disgusting.

The reality of the situation is that many people have serious health problems through no fault of their own. A close friend of mine in high school was 17 and a member of the cross-country running team when she was diagnosed with leukemia. A friend of mine was an avid water skier when he was diagnosed with diabetes. Friends of my wife and I had a child born with a congenital heart condition.

And there have been many people in good health who have died of COVID19, or who have had long lasting effects after contracting it. The notion that everyone who has died of this virus can be dismissed as insignificant because it's "their own fault" is not only ghoulish, but grossly ignorant.
 
I wonder how anti-mask sociopaths (and/or dimwits) feel about laws requiring clothing. I mean really, it's not like a nude person is going to get me sick.

I heard a coworker grousing before a meeting about getting asked at the site entrance about Covid exposures and risks. He actually said it was infringing on his “civil liberties“.

Funny, I never heard him complain about his giving up his First (part of it), Second, and Fourth Amendment rights every time he drove through that gate.

Anti-maskers are profoundly selfish, childish, and willfully stupid.

It seems rather obvious that your actual problem is that we're skeptical of your claims, and have pointed out that it's based on false information and poor critical thinking.

It is reminiscent of Oliver Wendell Holmes' opinion when he argued to uphold the prison sentence of Eugene Debs for speaking out against the US military draft in WW I.

He said that to speak against the draft at a time when US boys were fighting and dying in Europe was akin to "Yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater."

That statement made Holmes as popular back then as Pope Anthony (Fauci) probably s today.

What a ridiculous non sequitur. Again, Fauci is only one of millions of health care professionals world wide who are of the same opinion. Denying this overwhelming scientific consensus - claiming that the whole of the global medical community is committed to the hoax - is no different than claiming that earth is flat or that the Apollo landings were staged in a studio.

Totally agree on both counts.

A heathy immune system does not make one impervious to disease, and even older people with diabetes and heart problems can have healthy immune systems, and these people VERY RARELY DIE OF COVID.

The great majority whose lives may be shortened by hours or days by CV-19 are those with very advanced stages of cancer, heart disease or other terminal illnesses.
