Part of the problem is that while we use the term conservative their own movement contains seriously disagreeing factions. They might fund and create their own service but what version of Conservationism would it serve?

I suspect they would be banning one another 'right and left' (pun intended) for being too liberal or unconstitutional or anti-god
Field and Stream subscribers?

Soon you'll see how wrong that is

Trump has packed up his personal possessions, boxed them and is leaving the Whitehouse. (See the photo?)

Are you now claiming Trump is going to run his 20th January coup from the Mar a lago "communication room".

Bubba, seriously, what will you do if the GBS doesn't do anything before the inauguration, as you have predicted it will? And the wave of arrests that you predicted don't happen?

Will you admit that you were wrong and you have been misled?

What do you mean if?* Whether or not the playground pretender believes the pretend he is pushing, there is no pathway for Ex-President ***** -His-Pants to remain in office, no mechanism by which he might achieve such a thing. The cabinet ignores him, Pence is running things, such as they are, and the JCS has rejected Diaper Don as much as the people have. Done, defeated, dismissed and demoralized. Finished.

* I know you were being ironic.

With Mike Lindell as his Supreme Commander, Ex-President ***** -His-Pants will observe his loyal army of defenders --Cters, Q-nuts, christian nationalists and trumpscum -- get their dicks driven into the dirt. He will then order the pillow crackhead to be executed.

Duh.

If I am wrong about it, I'd admit it.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha-pauses to check heart rate -- hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

I think you know that they and many social media are private businesses whose reason for being is to be like a town square where people meet, gather, and talk.

No Bubba. Internet social media is not like a some idiot screaming from a soapbox at a public town square.

Your posting here, rather than screaming at the local town square right?

I used to research South Indian communist parties.

The Revolutionary Marxists hated the weak Marxist-Leninists, who hated the Maoists who really hated the Stalinist communists, but not as much as the New Maoists or the South Indian Leninists who wanted to join the North Indian Maoist-Leninists. and get revenge against the Socialist Marxists and the Democratic Socialist Communists.

It sounds like you have some pretty solid evidence that he was far more than just a summer intern. So lets see it.

So he has the evidence that he was a CIA spook? Do they use a lot of college kids for top-secret espionage?

Explain how it is not possible, if not likely, that an East Coast Elite college kid, after becoming a cia intern, is invited to stay on as a 'plainclothes' agent.

We know that Julia Childs and a few A-list hollywood actors were recruited by US intelligence. Those are just the ones we know of.

Elites and celebrities are more useful in many ways...access to higher levels where info can be gathered. I do not believe this needs explaining.

I cannot believe you dont get it, so I can only think that you are intentionally being obtuse.

Playground pretender still doesn't understand burden of proof.

Among many, many other things.

Timeline. Anderson Cooper got a job.

As he speaks Vietnamese he didn't get a job in Vietnam, did he?

Anderson Cooper hosted a TV game show called "the Mole" before getting news work.

How exactly is Kim Kardashian going to discover the cross country range of the new Russian T-14 Armata tank in Kubinka Tank Works Russia, Bubba?

Doesn't she have to speak Russian?

You do know Get Smart was a comedy?

:wink8:

I can't access this article without giving them my email address, which I'm not prepared to do.
Any chance of a summary of the main points?

Big Tech, which is run by the left, is robbing Americans of their right to communicate freely and exchange ideas.

The nation's founders worried that the government would use its power to censure and crush competing viewpoints. Their remedy was the First Amendment, guaranteeing all of us freedom of speech and association and barring government censorship. They had no way of anticipating that tech companies would grow more powerful than governments and have the monopolistic ability to suppress or cancel political viewpoints.

Trimmed for rule 4. Do not post "copyrighted" material in its entirety and do not post large amounts of material available from other sites. Posting a short summary, as requested, is acceptable

First, you're likely breaking the MA by posting what I presume is the entire opinion piece (you know the word "summary"?), how'd you like to be booted? J/K, but someone may report it. [emoji1]

Second, the first sentence was such a howler... I took a pass on reading further. [emoji1]

Well... there is *something* being pushed in there that's fair. Treating the internet as a public utility.

Wait... that sounds rather familiar, actually. That's just one of the many things that Democrats have been fighting for and Republicans have been fighting against and which Republicans actively and successfully worked to sabotage and prevent during Trump's time. Wait, no, nevermind. It's *only* the tech platforms - ones that largely already have bent over backwards to give advantage to Republicans and harm more left-leaning organizations. **** that perversion of reality and principles.

With all that said, does Big Tech need reined in? Heck yeah. Republicans haven't demonstrated the least bit of a principled stand when it comes that that, though. Instead, the only thing that seems to actually be motivating them is the *false* impression that they're being unfairly discriminated against and the true fact that the lies and disinformation they spread, or are being used to spread, are being curtailed in some way, which ends up being disadvantageous because of how much of what they're pushing is built on lies and disinformation.
