Trump (“I’ll be too busy to golf”) is golfing today, funneling yet more taxpayer money into his own coffers. He blew up a deal his own Treasury Secretary had praised, after Congress had come to agreement.

Unemployment support and a number of other pandemic-related programs expired because of Trump’s latest temper tantrum. A belated Christmas gift for those folks who are about to get evicted! (But don’t worry, our most pious VP is... vacationing in Vail at taxpayer expense.)

It’s been years, but I am still astonished that ordinary Americans think Donald Trump gives a rat’s rear end about them. But a lot of them don’t care, they simply hate other Americans enough that none of it matters.

What is he trying to say? If Democrat had "actually won," they would be fighting for the presidency? I think he means, "if Democrats had lost solely due to Republican cheating, they would be fighting for the presidency." Too complicated a thought for Trump to express, apparently, or too precise to be passed off as a Trump tweet.

But as long as he's complaining about the Republicans who have been enabling him up to now, I'm good.

Except that right now, with UI and other relief benefits expiring due to a lack of COVID stimulus signature, you can make a pretty good argument that he is hurting the country by golfing today.

You're over thinking it. IMO... he's saying if you flip the play and players, the Dems would be fighting like hell to "stop the steal", unlike his imagined do-nothing (for him) RINOs.

If any Dem president behaved the way Trump is now, I'd lose hope in America.

Some people already lost hope. Including me.

I just want to be safely in grave (from old age) before end product of cow's digestive tract hits whirling device, but that probably won't happen.

Call me silly, but I think the Dems can pull it together, and I'm somewhat cheered by some (actually conservative) Republicans standing up to the Trump insanity.

I think there are a lot of smart people in America. They can still win and make the country better.
