Several rock musicians..including Sir Mick..have made it clear they despise Trump but cannot legally keep him from playhing their songs at his rally..

I had to go and check, it’s not April fools day, you aren’t quoting the Onion or another humour site, he did actually say that in his first 2024 campaign rally.

After 4 long years he still can surprise me.

This is a nice example of a technique Trump supporters have used to great effect to sow doubt. You basically report on a rumor without having to make a statement of fact. (Now I really want to know if it's true!)

I'm not saying you are being dishonest, but this happens to be a propaganda technique that has been used repeatedly during this election season. I'm wondering what the most effective counter-messaging would be. Biden has pretty much ignored the innuendo machine and that seems to be working out - but I wonder if there is a better strategy. You can't refute it - it's not a claim.

only travels, in the water, about one third the speed sound travels in the air. For the speed of sound in water, it's a whole order of magnitude less. Curious that the article notes that Russia has built one (in-spite of the problems with guidance and targeting). One imagines that Trump's Russian buddy might have been bragging to him and perhaps even suckered him by calling it hydrosonic. Though, as you note above, the general deficiency of Trumps Supercavitating brain is more than sufficient explanation.

They have a whole system of super-dedicated people around them with the sole purpose of keeping them safe from any risk. Michelle Obama wrote in her memoirs that the Secret Service even preferred she ride the elevators instead of taking the stairs. Not contracting covid should be the easiest thing in the world for them.
