I don't that'll happen. He doesn't want to risk being a LOSER again; I don't think he liked being president; he'll most likely have some other scam going on; he'll be so demented by then that even being in public will be painful to his cultists.

More likely we'll see some younger GOP snots like Tom Cotton try to assume leadership of the cult.

Trump was never a president in the ordinary sense -- in his mind he was the BOSS. That's an ego rush he can't get anywhere else. I don't think he'd ever let go of that willingly, even if it's in his best interest to do so.

But she is presently under investigation by the New York District Attorney. Every indication is just like her father she has engaged in tax and bank fraud.
 
I don't know about California, but in my home state of New York, a big part of the problem was the huge increase in mail-in and absentee ballots which overwhelmed the archaic process the state uses to count them. New York is embarrassed and looking for a legislative solution to prevent a recurrence of the slow vote tabulation. This is from a New York Times news report of a week ago.
The bill would revise state law to allow election officials to open and count absentee ballots beginning on Election Day. This year, local boards did not begin to open and count absentee ballots until seven days after Election Day, and some did not start until Monday, nearly two weeks after voters went to the polls.

Even with final results beginning to trickle in for some races, local election boards have until Nov. 28 to report official counts to the state Board of Elections, meaning the tallying could drag on for more than a week in some counties...Officials in Onondaga County, which includes Syracuse, have already said they will miss the Nov. 28 deadline. The ballot count there was postponed until after Thanksgiving after eight election workers tested positive for coronavirus. New York Times article link

It wasn't even a real legislative hearing. It was a group of Republicans sitting around talking.



As part of the Michigan canvassing board proceedings, the Republican who abstained on certifying the count also introduced a resolution, non-binding, to encourage the legislature to investigate reported irregularities, or some such wording, which was adopted. So in Michigan Trump got a promise from a bunch of people that don't have the authority to hold a hearing, that they would encourage a different group of people to hold a hearing.....or something.
