Trump cancels Gettysburg trip.
That doesn't bode well for Rudy, I think.

I get you. I'd say "ugh" as well.Ah, OK. That's a hell of a lot better than what I took it to mean.

Trump team wins hearings in Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania legislatures on election concerns | Just The News
Well, that didn't last long.
Trump abruptly cancels trip to Pennsylvania to attend sham fraud hearing with Rudy Giuliani
Maybe they could learn from your experience, although our mileage might vary given the differences between our Congress and your parliamentary system. We've had our authoritarians in the electorate as a significant force since the early nineties in the Flanders. Their party oscillated between less than 10% to 24% in these years, now again well over 20% in the polls.
Nothing has worked: ignoring them, castigating them, having other parties talk tough against immigrants, etc ...
Hope your pros are smarter than ours.
Of course he did, these weren't rallies where he is going to be the only speaker, these were meant to. be other people speaking. Plus of course someone might ask him a sensible question.Trump cancels Gettysburg trip.
Yesterday I thought that these would be airings of grievances; I still think that, but with added snake oil grifting. With Rudy at the ready, and the kiss-ass Jenna Ellis to back him up, this ought to be good.As far as I can see, the phrase "wins hearings" is quite misleading here, isn't it? It seems to me that what Giuliani is advertising as hearings before the State Legislatures are actually meetings between Trump and groups of Republican members of these legislatures, with no official standing or legal authority whatsoever, right?

Correct. It was a hearing. People say things at hearings. The only "rulings" issued in a hearing would have to do with committee procedure like "your time is up."As far as I can see, the phrase "wins hearings" is quite misleading here, isn't it? It seems to me that what Giuliani is advertising as hearings before the State Legislatures are actually meetings between Trump and groups of Republican members of these legislatures, with no official standing or legal authority whatsoever, right?

Assuming the metaphor means what I think it means, I never want to see Trump in his 'orange suit'.

In GA, they threw away the envelops with the signatures that the ballots came in, then commingled the mail-in ballots with the day-of ballots so there was no way to tell them apart.
He retweeted himself?
Wouldn't be the first time.
Here is the retweet.
And the original from yesterday.
It's long been known that only part of Trump's tweets are done by Trump himself. The retweet may have been by a staffer frantically retweeting anything Trump would agree with and not noticing who it was from.
