Mr. Shadow wants the Stones

I was thinking about that scene the moment I saw the pictures of Rudy. Glad someone posted it!

A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted Nov 13-17 shows a majority of Republican voters say they believe trump actually did win the election.
The Nov. 13-17 opinion poll showed that Trump’s open defiance of Biden's victory in both the popular vote and Electoral College appears to be affecting the public’s confidence in American democracy, especially among Republicans. Fifty-two percent of Republicans said that Trump "rightfully won," while only 29% said that Biden had rightfully won. US News

trump may be going away but Republican voters aren't. trump's undermining of the foundation of a democratic society -- free and fair elections -- is going to be an ongoing problem as well. It's a very sad state of affairs. :(

I’d always wondered if the “big lie” really did work or even exist, Trump has shown how it is implemented and how it works, as someone once said who “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously"?

Someone without a shred of human decency.

Repeating a lie a lot doesn't do it alone. It also requires an audience that was already set up to fall for it before it even got there.

That may be their response but I wonder if they actually do. There certainly are some true believers but many are just keeping their deal with the devil. Trump is a means to an end and lots of people rationalize the process. The ends justify the means. Their own self interest cancels out the actual truth. I went to church for 20 years all the time thinking it was a crock. I knew what was expected and I did it. I posed as a Christian.

Rudy is a perfect example of a poser. He holds press conferences railing against fraud in the election but when his feet are put to the fire in court, he stops making the argument. A true believer stands by his convictions.

He will declare the election nullified and have an alternate inauguration. Maybe he'll get Roy Moore to be the judge to administer the oath. Newsmax and OAN will carry it. It's the ultimate way to ensure millions of Americans don't think Biden is really the president.

I fully expect that to happen; predicted a few days ago.

Surely there will be more people at Trump's alternate inauguration than at Biden's.
Without question.
I don't think she is a big Trump supporter. Judge Jenine Pirro on the other hand would fit the bill.
Brett Kavanagh was my earlier prediction.
Biden's will be interesting because Trump will forbid the GSA from arranging for it to take place in the usual way. Maybe militarize the park police to keep people off the Mall.

I don't think Kavanaugh would be stupid enough to participate in a fraudulent inauguration (as long as he wasn't drunk at the time). AFAIK Kavanaugh doesn't even have a TV show, so therefore Pirro's ratings are much higher.

As George Conway put it: "@realDonaldTrump. Is. Such. An. Imbecile." https://twitter.com/gtconway3d/status/1329913535799963648

For anyone that doesn't know, the Betty Trump Twitter account was a parody (they said so themself) that Trump supposedly replied to. I'm not sure that reply wasn't from a staff member. We should keep that in mind. And Trump can't say so without admitting he has a ghost Tweet writer.

I posted in the coup thread that reported on CNN Trump told an 'ally' he knows he lost but this is now about revenge for his perceived ruin of his own Presidency by Obama and Clinton. All the Russia stuff etc he cites as injuring him.
No wonder he lost, it was everyone's fault, he could have been the greatest POTUS ever in the whole world.
