I love Seth Meyer's video clips of Trump fans:
In one state: Stop the count!
In another: Count the vote!

Trump Is Losing the Election, So He's Trying to Destroy Democracy: A Closer Look

Trump Tweets

Trump Tweets

So now the Democrats are working to gain control of the U.S. Senate through their actions on John James, David Perdue, and more. Would End the Filibuster, “Life”, 2A, and would Pack and Rotate the Court. Presidency becomes even more important. We will win!

Twitter is out of control, made possible through the government gift of Section 230!

Made all the more delightful by the confirmation from Twitter that once trump leaves office, he will no longer be deemed a "newsworthy individual" and thus he will be held accountable on rulebreaking :D

Trump is correct, actually. STOP THE COUNT!!!

(Biden now at 286)

I guess the next time we'll be hearing crowds yelling, Four more years!, it will be outside a jail when Trump is about to be released on parole ...

Who would have thought two men in their 70s could maintain an election this long

Trump could lose more than just the presidency this January. Twitter has confirmed that, if he leaves office in January, as now seems increasingly likely, he will no longer receive special treatment as “newsworthy individual”.

Libruls not only want to steal the election and 'Murrica, they even want to steal his twitter! A fate worse than that could hardly be imaginable..!

I do love reading a good Marina Hyde column.

Marina Hyde said:
There are several reasons presidents cry. Anyone who has ever had one and been up half the night with it – or all the night with it, night after night – can tell you this. Sometimes presidents cry because they’re tired, sometimes they cry because need their nappy changed, sometimes they cry because they don’t want you to leave them, sometimes they cry because they have a gnawing pain in their tummy, and sometimes they cry because they’re just being impossible that day and you should probably go to bed and leave them to it but somehow you just can’t.

I remember the huge excitement of being got out of bed as a child for major news events on the basis that, “This is history.” Yet watching Trump have his meltdown on Thursday night, I didn’t exactly feel inspired to get the children out of bed for it. They could watch the giant baby in the morning. We are finally, just about, near the point where it isn’t history. It is just histrionics.

The whining on Fox News is delicious. They know they will lose, but keep raging against the dying of the light.

Hey foreign types.

Context. How long does it take for you guys to get results after major but routine elections?
Ah well, that depends....
Ireland has fewer voters and far fewer elective offices (and the elections are held separately) but we use PR-STV for pretty-much everything so the count is iterative. In February, the last General Election, polls closed at 10PM and the count began the following morning (a Sunday) at 9AM and it was completed by midnight on Monday.

Once he leaves office he can block all the naysayers though. I wonder if he'll have to do that himself or will he have to pay someone to do it for him.
