Say what you want about Trump, but he has resoundingly won the state of denial.

For those not following the minutiae of numeric reporting, this means nothing.

3,365 for whom? From what? Which way is it trending? Is the gap getting tighter, or larger?

Sorry. 3,356 between votes for Trump and votes for Biden in Georgia with Trump leading. The gap is getting tighter, but there are only 19,000 left to count.

I worked next to a Trump voter for two years and we got on fine. I am thinking that this is the normal rather than the exception and that most of the division manifests in the media and in particular social media as well as ideologically charged groups.

Many families divide on party lines and still manage to get on fine, many friends can go down to the pub and argue politics and remain friends.

I am thinking that the "division" thing is mostly something pushed by ideologues and that most of us can cope with the fact that we disagree politically.
This is my experience. We usually call it "being adults."

For the most part, it always was so. It is becoming a thing of the past.

Why?

Who benefits from a successful 'divide and conquer' strategy??

What/who is needed to implement a successful 'divide and conquer' strategy??

They say its easier to control a divided people.

Perhaps he'll announce it's Opposite Day, so that by losing he's actually won. Also he is slender and brilliant, and people love him.

How is that different from any other day? Remember, when he got out of the hospital after his COVID-19 treatment, he said “I'm back because I am a perfect physical specimen and extremely young”.

President Trump has been warning the American people about rigged elections for years. Democrats tried to cheat their way into the Senate with ballot-harvesting, but so far we've foiled their plans. Now we just have to stop them from stealing the White House.

Trump leads Biden by 1,460 votes in Georgia, needs about 54% of the remaining vote

Thats why.

Demagogues like Donald Trump have enjoyed the perks of the presidency with a complete disregard for any damage he causes.

You may be right. Being adult is becoming a thing of the past.

Wait let me guess...the Democrats, right?

China?
Russia?
Iran?
ISIS?
_____?
All of the above?

When your enemy is too powerful to overcome with force, your only useful weapon is subversion, or in other words, your classic, "Divide and conquer" operation.

If it's happening at all, that is.

As Pogo Possum* put it so well a half a century ago, "We have met the enemy and he is us."

Trump has had a 3rd lawsuit dismissed today.

His request to stop the count in Philadelphia was denied.

Also looks like if the ballot ratio even kind of keeps up Biden will win PA comfortably.
