2020 Presidential Election part 2

I think it’s over now that MI is called. NV is completely done with the in person vote with Biden up 8k, it’s entirely mail in ballots left and likely to expand his lead.

It's probably over, but I'd like to see Biden take everything that's still open, except for Alaska, which is too unlikely.

Trump Tweets

We have claimed, for Electoral Vote purposes, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (which won’t allow legal observers) the State of Georgia, and the State of North Carolina, each one of which has a BIG Trump lead. Additionally, we hereby claim the State of Michigan if, in fact,.....

there was a large number of secretly dumped ballots as has been widely reported!

Second part of this tweet was marked as misleading

We hereby send Trump to Florida. Ankle bracelet to follow, after court cases.

What's to be done about all those people who still don't have proper ID? Are they just a lost cause, or are advocacy groups trying to chip away at the number?

Not really related to fraud question, but I thought you might know about this.

Various advocacy groups push the issue, particularly among elderly voters, and provide rides to and from offices - I'm thinking of Vote Riders, the NAACP, and so forth primarily, I know less about this particular side of things. This can be particularly difficult for old black folks, who sometimes have no birth certificate because they were banned from hospitals that would provide them. Younger people are another problem, due both to apathy, a habit of going to colleges outside their state, and a serious lack of concern for local elections (that last one especially irks me to no end - you can vote whoever for president, but if the local sheriff's a douche, you'll get a police force that shoots at the press and does stunt raids with washed up actors, but ignores child sex abuse cases and other serious matters. Not that I'm thinking of anyone in particular here).

I forget, is he the one that ended up at the bottom of the steps?

That was Father Damian Karras. Merrin was the old priest totally worn out fighting the devil. Interesting fact. Both actors that played the priests were the same age born only days apart.

What made me think of The Exorcist was a headline that said the choice was an exorcism or a dictatorship.

trump's lead in Georgia is also narrowing, it's below 60k votes now and most of the remaining ballots are from Dem-leaning counties. One to watch for certain.

By the look of it... at 88% of counting, Trump's down to a 4.3% lead in PA, and it looks like disproportionately many of the uncounted are remaining in very heavily Biden urban areas.

Looks like Biden needs about 2/3 of the remaining votes to win GA. The counties with remaining votes to be counted look like they're at about 3/4 and 5/6 of the vote being for Biden, currently.

NC? What's left is an unknown number of mail ballots that haven't arrived yet, apparently, so no idea. AP numbers have an estimate of 6% uncounted ballots, with Trump currently holding a 1.4% lead.

Alaska? Alaska's weird anyways, so it's hard to say much. AP numbers have them at about 50% counted, and Biden would likely need about 2/3 of the remaining estimated vote.

I think Nevada and Arizona have been covered enough by others, then.

Looks like Biden will win Michigan and he only needs Nevada to get to 270 EC votes. FINGERS CROSSED IN NEW YORK!!!!

Related, when my wife and I voted two weeks ago I said the mood in the crowd was somber but determined. I got the feeling trump wouldn't do as well in the Bronx as he did in 2016. I was wrong, he did better. In 2016 trump got 10% of the Bronx vote -- I had misremembered that he'd gotten 20% -- and this time around he somehow (???) got 17%.

Biden has launched his transition team website. Feels like a subtle way to say he's moving forward without "declaring victory."

I read he’s been carrying philly by 50 and Pittsburgh by 10. That’s where most of the votes are coming in from

Dose' Bronx people are dead to me. I've been hating 'dem since I was five years old anyways!
