2020 Presidential Election part 2

Not for lack of trying though. AG Barr is very keen on applying his vision of a strong unitary executive theory, ie. that the president can do whatever he wants, subject only to the powers of impeachment and the ballot, and with both being pretty much irrelevant - as it appears unlikely for 2/3 of a republican controlled senate to vote in favour of impeachment - what's to stop him?

AG Barr has nothing to do with it. If Trump does something that infringes on the powers of congress, they take him to court.

only if the Senate Majority wants to.
As they clearly don't.

Trump has infringed on the Power of the Purse countless times, but Republicans don't care.

Wisconsin

Biden's current lead is 13,975 votes, statewide. It all comes down to Brown County

President Trump currently leads Brown County by 14,269 votes 14.77% reporting.

President Trump won Brown County by 10.8% in 2016

Also Washington County. Only 75% reported, that's Trump area also.

It's been reported that the main holdup in Brown county is in Green Bay itself where a counting machine ran out of ink and is delaying their numbers. Green Bay city went to Clinton in '16

**** it.
Been doing terribly for a long time, and yesterday was my first good day in forever.
Then this happens and now it's just as bad again.
So many people in the States must be feeling so terrible right now.

In better news, Biden has taken the lead in Wisconsin.

News coming through is that heavy Democrat areas in Michigan will soon start reporting in and it should flip.

Biden is president elect.
Let us hope that prosecutor Harris never screws America.

Democrats need to convince about a million of their California voters to move to Texas, and another million to move to Florida. Wouldn't need to ever worry about this again.

Unless you have an information source the rest of us don't, nope, he's not.... yet. There are hopeful signs, but too many States are still in play to call it as it stands.

Green Bay has apparently finished their count and Brown County will post once they get them, No idea as to those numbers this year, but they went slightly democrat in 2016.

Michigan and Wisconsin are both leaning towards Biden narrowly.

Nate Silver puts Bidens chances as of a few minutes ago at 88%

In Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada Georgia and N Carolina the forecasts as of right now are likely to be pretty close as a fair chunk of the vote is counted, and what's still outstanding is relatively well known.

Biden needs Arizona Nevada Michigan and Wisconsin and that's that. Trump can take Pennsylvania Georgia and N Carolina and he still loses.

Nevada has finished counting all of their current Ballots, but late Ballots have until Nov 10th as long as they are postmarked as of the 3rd. This looks like a Biden win unless the late mail-ins are redder than the early ones.

Arizona could take a while, as Clark County (ie. Las Vegas, and home to most the the state population) has about 75,000 mail ballots left to count. Biden has a very slender lead, but so far the mail ballots have favoured Democrats 2-to-1.

Edit: My bad, that was as of half an hour ago, I hadn't noticed the timestamp.

You guys seem desperate to paint Trump as a racist xenophobe monster. Gullible, even.

Trump was referring to actual criminals. MS 13 for instance.

First, no, he said that about all immigrants from "Mexico", which is why he rushed to lock down immigration from both there and everywhere south of there (he apparently has little to no understanding of Central and South America).

Second - why would anyone be "desperate", when he proved it beyond any reasonable doubt back when he was freaking out about Obama's birth certificate, grades, and writing back in 2011? Anyone who doesn't see that as throwback, Dred Scott-level white supremacism, simply doesn't understand white supremacism in the first place.
